I honestly don’t have a good definition for either of these terms anymore as the examples put up are confusing.
At One time I thought I had a good definition of a terrorist and it changed to something less specific.

i dont doubt that there are some legitimate "anti-white" people or black nationalists. its a mistake to generalize and say "that is every 'woke' person"

The real deal is we may be in the middle of a second civil rights movement but people dont want to acknowledge it.
The 60s civil rights movement was in no way perfect, there were groups that went extremely violent, not just the police.
I completely understand the sentiment as when I first came on this board, I asked the question of people on this board:
Who would you rather be born as and now getting ready to make a life for yourself in the US?
1. A black female
2. A white male.
Explain your reasoning. Thats when I found out some people NEVER leave their computer and dont experience the world around them in this country.
I live in South Texas. I have personally seen all kinds of actions other people are subject to that I never had thrown at me because I am an in shape, white male. That includes all the fat comments I "used" to hear at salad bars when fat people got up to eat. When you personally get a perfectly innocent black colleague and his family out of trouble with the police solely because you are white... and all the other ... Ive seen too much.
And I get called a White Knight by bringing up situations I have personally witnessed.
Like its some sort of moral high ground, when its just basic observation I noticed VERY early on in life.
And people have the gall to claim unfair, this world is unfair to white males... fckn snowflakes.

It's hard to be a white man in America right now, because you have to spend hours hearing about how you've got it better than other races. That's basically assault.

I think the issue here is that we all too often generalize political and cultural positions as singular, when in fact they exist on a spectrum. "Wokeness" isn't monolithic. There's rational wokeness and irrational wokeness. Rational wokeness is simply wanting to end racial and sexual discrimination where it exists. Rational wokeness is not honoring confederate losers with statues or murderous pedophiles like Columbus with statues and holidays.
Irrational wokeness is political correctness taken to stifling extremes. I don't think whether a white voice actor voices a black character is something worth being "outraged" about. I don't think trying to guilt every white person for the injustices of slavery is fair or productive, nor do I think labeling every white person as inherently privileged is fair. Lebron James's kids are in a world of different privilege than a white kid born to a meth addict in Missouri. Irrational mentalities should always be criticized, whether they're on the left or the right. That said, even with irrational wokeness being a feature of the left, I still consider the Cult of Trumpism a bigger worry.

Why is BLM purported mostly by the whitest of white people. Why do you almost never see a major Black celebrity or athlete spouting Black Lives Matter. They are usually saying something else like I can't breathe, etc. That's all I want to know, is it guilt or something else.it's about as dumb as like this
As a minority myself it's funny how all the "woke" people are just now seeing minorities have experienced since they were kids.
Both college educated. Black male has it easier in 2020 than white male.
The reason I prefer to be white is because of culture and pressure within the community (Uncle Tom). Companies are foaming at the mouth to hire diversity and pat themselves on the back.
