Right, because single payer healthcare is so ing crazy that every other industrialized country in the world does it. We're the not crazy ones for going bankrupt paying medical bills where hospitals have free reign to price gouge.
Medicare For All isn't hard left, it has widespread support among the people and is what nations run by responsible adults instead of banks and offense contractors have implemented.

Just a solid 2-day paranoia meltdown by Derp_Finale.
I'm no fan of Alex Jones. Don't listen to him or know what he says other than when he makes national headlines.
Huge difference between he and I -- I do not claim to know A-Z details on this or whatever other issue in question. I just know this sh&t smells funny. Just like those mysterious endless supply of bricks that ended up in downtown's of several major rioting cities when no construction was actually taking place. You can believe everything the media tells you and be a sheep, or you can think for yourself.
In regards to China's economy -- we owe them an astronomical amount of money. And as long as the slave labor exists there the world will depend on them for profit. They can afford to take a hit in order to rid themselves of the bad orange man.
Does it sting? Put some peroxide on it so it does not get infected.
Yeah, and their healthcare generally sucks so if they have the means they come here when they find themselves in trouble. Our health care system is broken, but their's is not any better. And there are really no solid answers on this or they would have already been implemented.
Huge difference between Alex Jones and myself -- Alex tries to attempt some kind of explanation of his conspiracy theories. I just say it's a conspiracy theory then run away! Which means I win, sheeple!
They were already implemented in every other country in the world.
Sheep ^^^
Now run along and watch CNN for your daily dose of BS![]()
Very compelling argument. Their healthcare "generally sucks" and their people allegedly come here for healthcare because you say so.
I'd venture to guess the solid answer is the healthcare system that every modern country uses except for the one modern country that's controlled by a private pharma lobby and spends a trillion dollars a year buying fighter planes from Lockheed Martin.
I don't watch CNN.
What do you watch?
I know people in Mexico(which have universal) and they are always ing about this great system you guys want so much
I know veterans who have something similar and they are always ing about the lack of quality care.
I don't think it's as great as you think it is.
Oh OK so you have anecdotal evidence from a few people. Really convincing!
using Mexico as an example. No healthcare in a 3rd world country is ing terrible. I'm talking about Canada, or Germany, or Sweden, etc.
Sure they did.
Claimed Obama stopped Ebola in it's tracks and so it never even made it here, then immediately pivot to covid and all the carnage we have dealt with here.
If it were as great as you folks try and make it out to be, not even anecdotal evidence would exist against it.
Go to Canada and wait 2 months for your non-urgent MRI, then come back and tell us how fond you are of their system
No.
Imma stop you there because Ebola did come here and it was prevented from spreading from the initial ~10 cases.Claimed Obama stopped Ebola in it's tracks and so it never even made it here
The fact you weren't even aware it happened proves they and others had a great response to the disease.![]()
If the best evidence you can drum up that Sweden's healthcare sucks is anecdotal evidence from friends in a 3rd world country that's dirt poor and has ty doctors, it's healthcare must be pretty damn good.
This is a cliche right wing talking point that's never backed up with any evidence. "Go to Canada and see how long it takes to get non-essential surgery, then come talk to me!" Happy to when you can provide proof of this amorphous wait time problem that Canadian healthcare ostensibly has.
Btw, among industrialized countries, US is:
- highest public and private expenditures on healthcare as a percentage of GDP
- highest infant mortality rate
- highest prevalence of mental health problems
- highest consumption of anti depressants per capita
- highest proportion of population going without healthcare due to cost
- highest amount of deaths caused by medical error per capita
But yeah, all of that doesn't matter because you know a couple of s who say their 3rd world country's universal healthcare system sucks![]()
You didn't even watch your own lousy convention
Mic e Obama: Our leaders had worked hand-in-hand with scientists to help prevent an Ebola outbreak from becoming a global pandemic.
Eva Longoria: Joe knows about pandemics. In 2014, he helped stop the spread of Ebola and brought the world together to keep it contained.
John Kerry: We stopped Ebola before it became a pandemic.
Barack Obama: They’ll get this pandemic under control, like Joe did when he helped me manage H1N1 and prevent an Ebola outbreak from reaching our shores.
The outbreak never did reach our shores. Two people brought it in and a few people who came into contact got it too-- mostly health care workers.
Do you need to be educated about anything else? I'm happy to help an ignorant person if he's willing to learn.
A lot of what you are saying there relates not to healthcare but to our freedoms and wickedness as a whole. The same reasons our jails and prisons are always overcrowded
The only real sticking point you have is the highest overall expenditures on health care. Because people are not getting denied when they go to the E.R and we both know this.
Highest overall expenditure is a terrible product of capitalism. The same capitalism that is the most innovative in the world and produces much needed drugs and therapies. Take the good with the bad.
derps_Finale doesn't care about the dead babies
Again, no proof, you're just throwing conjecture out there hoping it sticks. And no, our jails are overfilled because we have a private prison lobby that gets to write our mandatory sentencing laws for nonviolent drug offenders. Similar to how our healthcare is most expensive because we have a private insurance and BigPharma lobby that will carpet bomb any politician who wants price control with negative campaign ads.
What specific "freedoms" do we have that Canada and Sweden don't have that lead to a higher infant mortality rate. Be specific.
People in Sweden and Canada don't get denied with they go to the ER either, I don't see how that's a cost we have and they don't have. You're just throwing at the wall.
Show me proof of "most innovative in the world". You keep using these hore vague adjectives like "wicked" and "innovative" in order to sound credible without a shred of any evidence.
Either way, no, I'd much rather be Sweden than be the country where 500,000 people declare bankruptcy every year due to medical bills just so Purdue Pharma can "innovate" new opioids to addict people to and get rich off of it. For 99% of the population that's a lot more bad than it is good.
LMFAO -- it either came or it didn't.
It doesn't sorta reach our shores anymore than a woman can be sorta pregnant.![]()
the type of person who can afford to fly from europe to the US to pay out of pocket for preferable treatment is not the type of person that we are concerned about when advocating for universal healthcare. that person was going to be fine regardless and isnt the type of person who is likely to go into bankruptcy because of medical bills
