I'll add that we kind of live out in the country. So it's people driving their own vehicles and not wearing any kind of postal uniform. It seems pretty unstructured. My guess is that it's different in a bigger population area.

Some of the big hatcheries are Mcmurray, Hoover's, Meyer, Stromberg's and Cackle hatchery. Don't buy chickens from these hatcheries unless you live close to them! If you do, the shipping might take too long and you'll have dead chicks. "
Good advice although I would have said just don't order from the big hatcheries. Half the time you don't even get what you ordered even if they are alive.
