still 1M+ NEW UI benefit claims/week.
the August jobs were mostly old jobs being refilled.
30M+ officially unemployed plus those out of the workforce.
Still the Senate Repugs say not one $ more for the unemployed.

they don’t have to. Black people scare their stupids, Christ look at mouth breathing cowards on here.
one of two things will be accomplished, Trump will win and they can finish off the ideals of checks and balances and everything this country was supposedly founded upon.
Or Biden will win, and they will be able to stall any legislation to help people for a couple years, and when the economy doesn’t magically improve on January 21, 2021, they will be able to do the only thing they can do, which is run against Dems.
you’ve seen how they’ve governed. Yet it is the Dems. That’s how ing stupid their followers are.
Shocker that slashing the unemployment safety net and thus decreasing consumer spending would lead to a drastic slowdown in economic recovery.
It's almost like spending does more to stimulate the economy than giving rich people tax cuts does.
Definitely need to eliminate the payroll tax
Yup economy struggling and they finally admitting it.
Already plan to cut more taxes and extend eviction ban until at least 2021
Cutting income taxes will definitely bring relief to the 30 million unemployed Americans with no income
Even if we expand the eviction moratorium at the federal level, apartments that don't have federal financing can still evict people in states like Texas and Florida that have no intention of renewing their eviction ban.
In essence, we're fcked.
I don't see how that would be enforceable against landlords that don't have federal financing, nor should it be. Trump should have to go through Congress to get this done, he shouldn't be able to use executive orders to cherry pick the bare minimum amount of relief needed to avoid complete economic collapse before the election is over.
Pelosi being the useless that she is of course isn't challenging any of these executive orders.

The power ostensibly invoked is the CDC director's authority to take measures to prevent the spread of disease. In principle, that could cover everyone in the country.

There's going to be a lot of landlords who sue over this, and I'd be really surprised if the courts rule the CDC has that much power.
The executive order would have been a lot better if it provided landlords with mortgage relief too and/or included a foreclosure ban. This EO effectively says you can't collect rent but better figure out how to pay interest on your loan next month. I've gotta think there's some hardship protection landlords can use to get out of this EO.
Kicks the can past the elections and gives Trump a pretext to say he saved people from eviction.
I don't have high hopes for this, but I guess we'll see..
I hired two new employees this week. Firing another one, though.
But you can also cut the capital gains tax for them for when they sell stocks or their properties.
Don't tell Trump. He's celebrating the stock market run and wants you to thank him for it.
Won’t be celebrating the stock market run if we keep having days like today![]()
He might still be. He's totally lost it. TOTALLY
