Chris Rock has said that Nancy Pelosi and Democrats are responsible for the coronavirus pandemic because President Donald Trump is a 5 year old
In a wide-ranging interview with the New York Times, the comedian spoke about everything from politics, the pandemic to blackface and Black Lives Matter—but he's taking issue with the Democrats' handling of having Trump in office.
Rock, 55, invoked the 1987 film The Last Emperor when explaining how he feels the pandemic should have been handled.
"Did you ever see that movie The Last Emperor,' he asked. "Where like a five-year-old is the emperor of China? There's a kid and he's the king. So I'm like, it's all the Democrats' fault."

He explained: "Because you knew that the emperor was five-years-old. And when the emperor's five-years-old, they only lead in theory. There's usually an adult who's like, 'OK, this is what we're really going to do.' And it was totally up to Pelosi and the Democrats."
Rock seems to take issue with the attempt to get Trump impeached instead of placating the President, like a child.
"Their thing was, 'We're going to get him impeached,' which was never going to happen. You let the pandemic come in," he said. "Yes, we can blame Trump, but he's really the five-year-old."
Rock added: "Put it this way: Republicans tell outright lies. Democrats leave out key pieces of the truth that would lead to a more nuanced argument. In a sense, it's all fake news."

Chris Rock is known for his outstanding analysis and has been at the forefront of domestic and foreign policy in the US.
Trump would have been impeached and convicted with a different party makeup in the Senate. He got off through party loyalty. He will go to jail if he lives long enough.
Trump asked a foreign government to use their intelligence to out a political opponent for a presidential election. He should be incarcerated and vilified. History has this bookmarked.

Black ppl love rock as much or more than white ppl. If black ppl hated him you might have a point. But thats just not the case. And hes just not a famous comedian. Hes top 5 ever easily.

The only thing we learned from that waste of time impeachment was that Mitt Romney is actually a democrat.
There could be some merit to what he’s saying but his logic is faulty.
Dems share blame for , sure. But the Last Emperor is not the parallel to blame the dems. The Republican Party made Trump a candidate, backed him, supported him, enabled him. They were the adults who had ability to control the child. They didn’t. The impeachment process was the dems trying to get control of the child. The dems aren’t the adult with the child. They’re the people that overthrew the empire and made China a republic.
Rock’s conclusion doesn’t match the Last Emperor comparison.

His point is that democrats shoulds acted immediately to save lives of americans knowing they have a 5 year old in charge. They decided to continue their BS impeachment and sit on their hands to be able to blame trump later. It was a conscious decision by them.

What exactly could the Democrats in the House have done? Be specific. They weren’t getting briefed on COVID the way Trump was, but setting that aside anything they tried to do in the house wouldn’t have even been brought to the floor in the senate.

He’s blaming Democrats for not being able to clean up problems caused by Republicans. According to Chris Rock, even when the Republicans are at fault, it’s really the Democrats you should blame. If you were to use his logic, the Republicans would never be responsible for anything that goes wrong, because they’re just sweet innocent children who the Democrats should be responsible for monitoring. That’s about as Candance Owens as it gets.
