Looks like dictator-wannabe is actively gearing up to nullify the election results if he loses, like every other despot that moves to cling on to power when democracy happens. He already trotted out trial balloons for this in 2016 calling the election he won "rigged".

A jarring new report from The Atlantic claims that the Trump campaign is discussing potential strategies to cir vent the results of the 2020 election, should Joe Biden defeat Donald Trump, by first alleging the existence of rampant fraud and then asking legislators in battleground states where the Republicans have a legislative majority to bypass the state’s popular vote and instead to choose electors loyal to the GOP and the sitting president.

I really hope Biden is surrounded by some smart advisers and $1000/hour lawyers, because it’s not re-assuring that he’s the only check and balance that makes sure the elections are fair.
Having Dem governors in WI/MI/PA/NC + picking up that Supreme Court seat in Wisconsin could very well be the difference maker this year, if Scott Walker was still Governor in Wisconsin then you might as well assume that state goes to Trump. Losing the gubernatorial race in Florida meanwhile is looking more costly every day.

This is from June. You can imagine he has only hired even more as Trump attacks the process with more intensity.

At the time, Clark was a senior lieutenant with Trump’s re#election campaign; in July, he was promoted to deputy campaign manager. “Wisconsin’s the state that is going to tip this one way or the other … So it makes EDO really, really, really important,” he said. He put the mission bluntly: “Traditionally it’s always been Republicans suppressing votes … [Democrats’] voters are all in one part of the state, so let’s start playing offense a little bit. And that’s what you’re going to see in 2020. That’s what’s going to be markedly different. It’s going to be a much bigger program, a much more aggressive program, a much better-funded program, and we’re going to need all the help we can get.” (Clark later claimed that his remarks had been misconstrued, but his explanation made no sense in context.)
Yeah that’s the problem? Biden’s campaign is really “aware” and that’s where it stops. Ultimately the problem that creates exposure is that urban voting precincts take way too ing long to canvass and count ballots, and should be easy to avoid.
Biden has also completely taken for granted how mail-in ballots are tricky and can be contested by the other party. There’s no groundgame from Biden that’s making sure his supporters in places like Philadelphia are following rules and double enveloping their ballots like the state requires.
Hiring a bunch of lawyers and paying them to be “aware” is the stupidest strategy I’ve ever heard.

the comments in question start around the 19 minute mark. for the record, it doesnt sound like he's advocating for a widespread suppression program. he suggests that democrats are "cheating" in their counties and he wants to get on the offensive and "protecting our voters"
he does mention the "traditionally its been republicans suppressing votes" but he's implying that in these counties, its democrats who are pulling those shenanigans

1) Id actually have field offices in battleground states working to get votes out and make sure mail-in ballots are cast correctly. Crazy idea for a presidential campaign to have field offices in battleground states i know.
2) I’d have campaign staff in communication with the county recorder and Election staff in important areas (ie Broward County) to make sure they have a plan and aren’t going to need until December to canvass for ballots
