I honestly don't believe messages matter much at this point in the race.
I think there's three teams. Team red, team blue and team Trump. If Trump goes down we're back to just two teams.

Wear masks
the TDS is really getting ridiculous
"If Trump dies, it'll help Trump's running mate get elected!"
No matter what the hypothetical scenario is, TDS Democrats will find a way to convince themselves it helps Trump.
Good to be shook after 2016
I'm not getting why you think the base will shift so drastically that Biden will "win in a landslide".
Because of "message time constraints"? I think enough voters are locked in with their hate for the other team (s) that there's no way the needle moves to "landslide".
You're acting way too cool as if this country isn't half re ed.
When you still have "undecided" voters and some saying they won't vote or will vote third party, you cant guarantee anything.
In 2016 Trump ran a mediocre campaign and his opponent ran a downright awful campaign, yet she came within <100k votes of winning despite an October surprise and being wildly unpopular.
TDS Democrats are so scarred by 2016 that any time something happens their mind uses convoluted logic to convince itself said event is either 1) good for Trump or 2) part of an elaborate plan where Trump is playing chess and we're all playing Connect Four.
I'm not saying anything is a guarantee. I'm saying the TDS is ridiculous.
Just look at this thread alone - we've gone from 1) conspiracy theories about how Trump is faking COVID in a calculated to help his re-election chances to 2) conspiracy theories about how he's taking unapproved drugs he doesn't need just so he can say he got better using unapproved drugs and now 3) concerns that if he does from COVID it's going to help his running mate. It's QAnon level insanity.
Now you're moving the goal posts - your original comment was about people on the fence shifting towards Trump, now you're saying there won't be a shift.
I think Biden would win in a landslide because Trump dying would take the wind out of his base's sails. There's more of a cult of personality around Trump than any presidential candidate ever before him. IMO you'll have a lot of Trump s who just won't show up to vote if Dear Leader dies <1 month before the election and his replacement is a vanilla looking establishment conservative.
yeah we know, the left doesn't believe in science but instead their personal truths. lol biology be damned! re ed progressives...
isn't the whole thing about qanon is to do your own research? yall are just spewing conspiracies with no research whatsoever. not sure which is better tbh. the fringe cringe!
Yeah but landslide?
2008 is considered by most to be landslide, and Biden is already polling at 2008 levels. I don't really think that's much of a stretch.
See I think there are enough polarized idiot voters that think this way about the left to still vote Pence
Let me guess. You believe Dump is working out of the offices of Walter Reed Hospital? Am I right lemming??![]()

I hope you're right. I just think we're way more polarized in 2020 than that.
Trump ran a pretty good campaign in 2016, hammering Hillary as the elite and casting himself as the populist while having a pretty savvy ad campaign thanks to Cambridge Analytica. Boy this election though... confederate statues and everything is great and America has already come back, his campaign looks just as completely out of touch as Hillary 2016 this time around.
"Wait you gonna tell america that you prefer to be hospitalized because you couldnt quarantine yourself in white house bedroom?"
"They are my Trump s. They will believe anything I say"
One of these things is not like the others. Having Pence as the candidate instead of Trump absolutely picks up some new Republican votes from never-Trump types and politically apathetic lifetime Republicans who got tired of Trump.
Whether that's enough to make up for the MAGA enthusiasm drop is another question, but it's not ridiculous to believe that Pence can beat Biden.
A lot of said polarized idiots firmly believe Trump when he says ONLY I CAN DO IT!!! They view Trump as the only one who can MAGA, a lot of them are going to be deflated and won't see the point of voting.
In bent presidents tend to get complacent and rest on their previous victories too much.
Trump is just re ed though. He’s rerunning the same message from 2016 and just applying a change of gender to the mix.
As predicted, it has failed.
"MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN I really mean it this time!"
I think you're hugely underestimating how much the GOP is the party of Trump. Do you know any Republicans who actually don't vote because they don't like Trump? Every Republican voter I know loves him.
Most of the lifetime Republicans I know are either voting for Biden or they're probably not voting.
