Of course, but Pence said it pretty calmly and pretty directly to the American public. He might not sway votes, but getting people motivated to actually vote is half as good.
I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to answer the question about packing the court. Just say you don’t like the tactic, it doesn’t address the fundamental issue of balance of power and that it becomes a for tat game by setting the precedent for republicans to do the same when they’re in power. Then mention Poland. I get the dems want to “keep all options on the table”, but just acknowledging it’s a short short sighted tactic is just a fact.
