During campaign season, OAN showed a Republican support video of a trans white nationalist. I was like wtf? But it helped push the notion, real or faux, of inclusivity and acceptance within the party. I think there’s this similar notion with blacks and gays for the Republicans to keep a few tokens around (Daniel Cameron?) and near the forefront to try to keep pushing that agenda, to show that they’re the party who accepts and doesn’t discriminate. Lady G could serve a similar purpose.

It’s somewhat fascinating.
