The Trump campaign hints that no one should be expecting a Trump concession. “This election is not over,” a campaign attorney said in a statement.

Three things are essential for Dems in Georgia:
- Convince Biden voters to "Finish the Job" by electing Democrat Senators
- Register new Democrat voters before December 7
- Depress the Republican vote with rural campaigns convincing people that Mitch McConnell and the GOP abandoned Trump
It's two sided right, because if another loud mouthed "outsider" comes along to take the place of Dear Leader, the maga core stays intact and can sway the entire R party.
the SCOTUS case on ACA is next week, but I don't they they will rule then.
need to pick their battles![]()
What they’re gonna try and do is run a “Trump, but smart!” candidate like Josh Hawley whos just as crazy as Trump but is Ivy League educated and well spoken, I’m just not sure if that’s enougn to drive enthusiasm. The mere fact that Trump is crazy doesn’t drive turnout, his willingness to say crazy and act like an angry reckneck who shouts loudly about MS-13 rapists is what unlocked so many new voters. Josh Hawley running on a populist message but expressing it in a calm and eloquent way isn’t going to get the enthusiasm from Billy Bob Aggie that Trump got.
Now here's a belly-busting knee-slapper for ya!
For the last year, Trump has been very clear that he was planning to steal the election. Like a ty comic book super villain, he kept telling us how he was going to do it.
This included bragging about how his new Supreme Court Justice, Barrett, was going to be the deciding vote to hand him the presidency. He BRAGGED about it.
Trump's plan all along was to pull a Bush v. Gore redux and use an avalanche of lawsuits to invalidate ballots in swing states, enough to give him a win.
If that didn't work, he also planned to use the chaos of delayed counts to have the courts step in and simply declare him the winner, which is more or less what happened in 2000.
Joe Biden, being aware that this was Trump's plan because he wouldn't shut the up about it, had an army of lawyers ready and foaming at the mouth to do battle. He had set aside not a small amount of the gazillion dollars he's been raising for AFTER the election to make sure Trump couldn't steal it.
Trump, on the other hand, did not have an army of lawyers ready.
Yeah, you read that correctly. On the night of the election, when they realized they weren't going to actually win, Team Evil freaked the out and scrambled to get a team of lawyers together and start suing.
Remember, the -literal- plan was to have the courts steal the election and Team Moron didn't actually get ready to carry out the plan. Not even one bit of preparation.
There are 4 possibilities as to why:
1. They drank their own kool-aid. In Trumpland, no one is allowed to tell Trump that he is losing. All internal polling must show him winning in a massive red wave that would make Ronald Reagan jealous. So why bother preparing a team of lawyers?
2. They ran out of money and could not afford an army of very VERY expensive lawyers. Lawyers are not stupid and they know Trump is a s bag that does not pay his bills. Any lawyer working for him will demand payment upfront. That's millions of dollars Team Imbecile does not have because they stole it/blew it all on worthless months ago.
3. Trump left it all up to Jared and Jared has the organizational skills and foresight of a squirrel with ADHD. This is the same galaxy brain that thought a ing virus would only infect blue states so why do anything to stop the spread? Middle schoolers are better educated than this.
Jared (and Trump) is undeniable proof that being rich and buying a degree at a fancy school does not mean you cannot be dumb as a ing rock.
4. A combination of all 3. Why spend what little money we have left on lawyers if we're going to win anyway? We're planning on embezzling that money like last time! And besides, Jared can handle it if things go sideways! It's foolproof!
And that, boys and girls, is how the dumbest criminals in the world ended up going to jail in 2021. (Copied from elsewhere sums up my thinking after having read some of the hilariously bad briefs and decisions that team Trump is losing)
whats crazy is that as much as people were mocking the trump campaign, their lack of late spending, etc... he also drew massive turnout that would have gotten him the most votes in election history if not for biden
To be fair. GOP is stuck with Trump for foreseable future. They cannot afford to disenfranchise his millions of maga s for years to come. They would be finished. Also who knows Trump might be a thing in 2024. They also cannot afford to completely piss him ofg. They are stuck in the anic w no lifeboats
They will publicly pretend to support him but secretly they will abandon him.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
How you been boss
All GOP has left is build on Maga anger. You cant do that if you dont pretend to be angry yourself.
I predict mounting anger from all GOP pussies
Tbh, it was more rejection votes against Trump than approbation votes for Biden. That also explains why some rep senators won where Biden did. Not about party but the guy.
America was fired up on both sides and it still came down to thousands of votes in a few counties lol. God bless this great social experiment
Nixon didn’t have a complicit r party. He only resigned when he was told they wouldn’t support him any longer.

Oh nooooo. Biden won’t accept the le unless Fox News says he’s president elect.

Biden president not Trump.
Biden gave people a rejection vote they were comfortable with. I didn’t support Biden in the primary and he wasn’t my first choice, but I’m not going to minimize his victory. Hillary ran against Trump too and she didn’t drive record black turnout and young voter turnout that Biden did.
Eyup. I don't see how they can rid themselves of Trump having been superglued to him.
Unless, of course, he goes to trial. No more DOJ memo to shield him from his crimes.
Other than Biden, Dems did so poorly, lost 5 or 6 House seats, that there could be revolt to replace Pelosi, again.
