I’m in AZ right now and my god do the people here hate Doug Ducey. The AZ senate race in 2022 is going to be tough but Kelly actually has a shot of Ducey is the one running (and he probably will be, the only reason he picked McSally is because she’d lose and make it so he could run for the seat).

Need to send more CA transplants to Utah next, tbh
That would take awhile to change. Montana is where the CA transplants need to start going, in time for Tester’s re-election in 4 years which is going to be an uphill battle.

Would be good if some of the Portland/Washington types also started moving inland, tbh...

I don't think anything is going to change very soon (even Texas, tbh), but it's the only way Dems are going to overcome gerrymandering.

Wouldn't it be easier just to alter your policies to better relate with the common man instead of Hollywood/Silicon Valley?

I'm actually proposing moving the GOP more towards the center, not outright replacement.

Trumpism is clearly a disease that has nothing to do with common, intelligent people.

Assuming Sherrod runs again I think he keeps that Ohio seat in 2024.

2024 is going to be a tough senate map regardless. WV is a guaranteed L, if they can hold either OH or MT and only lose 2 seats id be ok with it.

For the time being, just let COVID-45 do the social darwinism, but after that, some transplants would work out, tbh

Even though it just voted 70% Trump, it wouldn’t take very many people on a nominal basis to flip Wyoming. Soros should just set up a 200k person colony there and the state would flip overnight

ducks has totally waved the white flag because he knows Trump has totally given up on COVID management... it's 100% in the hands of the drug makers to save us.

They have as many senators as Texas, and that’s what Dems need more than electoral votes.

Agreed. That’s why I said earlier ITT that Utah is a dumb state to target, was just pointing out what Nono was getting at.

you're right about Montana and Tester, maybe target Idaho too with all the Seattle and Portland liberal millennials moving east to Boise to avoid the expensive cost of living in POR/SEA. Montana would have come in handy for the Dems this year too, but ah well. Tester seems to be popular and their population is pretty libertarian and atheist so they don't mind having one of each party in the senate and they're one of those states that seems to vote for the person as opposed to the party.

Anaconda and Butte, MT metro area is like 92% atheist and solidly blue, also 97% white, so it dispells the idea it's only minority filled areas that go Democrat

Trump made it so they voted for party over person in MT but you’re right, it’s a state with a much more educated population than other Mountain West states that’s fine with split ticket voting (from 2008 to 2014 it even had 2 Dem senators, when it has senators such as Baucus and Tester it doesn’t care about party). I don’t see the nutcase survivalists in Idaho going blue anytime soon and it’s not even something the Dems should invest in. The Dems need to quit wasting chasing expensive pipe dreams.
