-Derozan, LMA, and Rudy are irrelevant players still trying to play mid 2000s ball in a league that's passed them by.
-Trey Lyles is one of the worst players on our team. I've never liked him. He's a big man version of Bryn Forbes and a lot of our success in the bubble had to do with him not suiting up. Spurs would have been better off waiving him.

-Vassel looks promising. He and Jakob are probably our best two defenders. Ideally, those two should start alongside Derrick and Keldon. It would be our best lineup.

-That Murray extension is looking like it was a mistake. He doesn't know how to run an offense or dribble the ball and we're paying him $15 mil a year?
-Lonnie is still the same timid player as last year. Looks lost when he's on the court.
-Luka has a really bad motor and his body language is not encouraging. Poku is two years younger and already a better, more aggressive player.

I would be more concerned with Lonnie than Murray, Murray impacts the game when he is not scoring Lonnie is a liability on both ends. There is a limit on how much we blame pop for Lonnie's shortcomings.

Completely different looking game if Keldon and White were soaking up the minutes tonight

everyone ripping on Pokusevski but after being a malnourished twig playing against janitors in the B division of Greece he just dropped 14 & 8 after a week of NBA development.

He's the only guy I would have been fine with the Spurs taking instead of Vassell. Big risk but big reward if he can stop being so selfish and develop his body
His confidence is a good sign. It's why he'll probably have a long career in the nba and scared Samanic will be back in Europe in three years.

Murray is the bigger problem considering we just paid that pos based on nothing but hype and "unrealized potential". If Lonnie sucks, so what? We don't extend him and move on to the next prospect. Murray will hold us back for the next four years and be a locker room problem anytime we demote him to the bench(where he belongs).

Murray’s deal is very movable, and he’s a decent enough player. Can imagine a DJ<>Kuzma swap for example. DJ just shouldn’t be the top guy.

DJ has enough hype around in the league to be traded easily. #2 in instagram followers among Spurs players (#1 is DeRozan) and rated high according to ESPN

We should move him quickly though, before word starts getting spread around.

The biggest danger to this team's development is Patty Mills

    Horrible as a point
    Takes DUMBASS shots
Kills the flow of the offense
Other, more deserving players don't get touches

He literally kills the ball movement.

And he isn't going to ing stop because he wants to be "Australian Mills". , sit the down.

I disagree, the biggest problem was and still is the senile head coach

Rudy sees it. Let's just hope Pop sees it way sooner than when the season ends.
Uh, he does already. When is the last time a rookie had the most minutes in a game? Meanwhile last year's highest draft pick came in and basically played garbage time in the 4th. And was the same player he showed himself to be last year. No aggression to the ball. No, I'm taking this shot. No, I'm going to beat my guy and make a for my team.

I will give him a bit of credit in that his defensive closeouts and rotations are better, but he's still slow.

Really starting to question his long term fit if he can't start demonstrating some killer mentality.

16 mil for the one of the best POA defender in the league is movable, don't sweat it. He is a positive asset maybe not to you but to the league he is. Having a primary initiator alongside Murray makes him significantly more valuable than what he is now because of his defense and rebounding.

I think this is a "planned lost" with the SL of Poeltl, LMA, Gay and DDR it's only a matter of time we get kill on defense. I hope it's because the vets did not workout in the off season so Pop let's them have a run out. LMA sure embrace the 3pts role he just chucks it when he get it. Lonnie and Luca needs to show more, hope that Lonnie is still restricted by his back. Lyles does not seems to worked out in the off season, his shots are mostly short.

How bad is Dejounte Murray? 2-11, 4 assts, 3 turnovers... If only we can put White's brains in Dejounte's body, but no... the guy needs A LOT of work.

I've thought they should move Murray soon and quietly shop him around.

Lyles was always a disaster. He crapped out at Utah and Denver, teams that value his sort of skill set, for a reason.

Disappointed in Lonnie, but it's early in the season (I mean...) and ready to be patient.

    Samanic never rated for me.

LA slows down the pace by a lot regardless of his change of play style. His inability to roll kills the momentum and his rim protection looks like it regressed. You can't play the bubble style with LA it just looks bad.
