You must be having trouble keeping track of your own bs. Weeks ago you did post about it.
you posted election every day this past week.
Here as in ITT
Foreheads![]()
posting the same in multiple threads = posting the same over and over
Been in holidays for a while... any tick tock stuff I missed ?
Not really. Just a few more days until Trump s realize Pence is a deep state plant and never trumper.
trump and co are 1-60 in court attempts post-election
the 1 win being that they reduced the time period to cure defective mail in ballots in PA from 9 days to 6 days. likely affected a few dozen ballots or so![]()
Sucks to be Mike Penis knowing that any chance he had in 2024 gets shot to after January 6th and there’s nothing he can do about it![]()
What are the chances the process will take longer this time? As I understand it, one member of each chamber can object and will (Mo Brooks and Hawly) and delay Congress from certifying the electoral votes for a couple of hours but what if 100+ of them join? Does it make things worse in terms of having to hear a speech from each of them or what?
No idea. Certainly didn’t make things longer in 2004 when Barbara Boxer and a house rep from Ohio objected. Pretty sure if one member from each chamber objects that just puts it to a vote and as long as one chamber votes against the challenge then the EC count stands.
Im pretty sure that if this maneuver actually stood a chance of delaying things and causing chaos that might change the election results we’d see the establishment GOP Senators like McConnell joining in. The reason they’re not is because all it does is force GOP Senators to vote on whether they care more about Trump or democracy.
Ah Lovely stuff.
it's like they don't realize that if they fail to certify for some reason, the speaker of the House becomes president.why do these rubes want Pelosi to be president so badly
This is great news for the Dems, tbh... Trump fracturing the GOP is only good news looking into the midterms
In the meantime they will keep corrupting the system. Biden might not even make it to year 1.
Even if this is for nothing but they get to delay certification for say...1 day, that would have been too much damage done already.
If they manage to up what should have been easy Georgia runoff races (look how much the gambling odds have moved on both races already because of how bad the Perdue/Loeffler campaigns have been) the GOP could go through a rough patch.
Their 2022 senate map isn't good. Excluding the GA seat if Warnock wins, their only eye-popping pickup opportunity is running Sununu against Hassan in New Hampshire while they have to defend open seats in NC, PA, IA / an unpopular in bent in WI. In the house they'll get a gerrymandering boost in states they still control but the DNC has its together in fighting gerrymandering more than it did 10 yrs ago.
This is great news long-term for the GOP tbh. The raptors are testing the fences, and the consequences aren’t as severe as they thought. At some point they’re going to find a way through.
I think it's too early to say the consequences aren't severe. The only reason the Democrats kept their house majority was the GOP losing high propensity suburban voters in a way that threw their 2010 gerrymandered maps out of whack, and the GA runoff races should have been easy for the GOP but they're at the least going to be close now.
Cocaine Mitch seems to be most adept at playing the long game and he's pissed that this is going to the floor for a vote because the last thing he wants is senators like Joni Ernst who pretend to be MAGA s but really know he's an idiot have to cast a vote.
Meh, Americans memories are too short for that. Josh Hawley & Co will take a small amount now for their stance, and maybe they lose the Senate in the short term, but in 4 years nobody will care, and then they can push things even farther, until eventually they find a way to actually overturn legitimate election results.
It’s a distraction. It’s another Ross Perot situation where you’re going to have cult candidates showing up and diluting the GOP candidate votes, or running trashing primaries against GOP candidates, which is a win-win for Dems.
If the RNC sticks with the cult (minus the cult leader, at least for midterms) instead they don’t have enough votes.
CoRonna McDaniels should really start looking into how Georgia and Arizona were lost, and what needs to change so they don’t lose the popular vote over and over. But the whole fraud canard has distracted from that.
This weasel has one of the most punch-able faces on the planet.
