    Imo the whole thing was improper, his objective was a partisan effort to help Loeffler/Perdue. His role should be nonpartisan and this press conference was effectively a GOTV rally.

    Don’t they have separate charges? I imagine Fulton County DA goes after any state laws that are broken while AUSA has jurisdiction over federal law violations.

    Yes, if Georgia has its own set of criminal laws that apply - something that’s likely but I can’t say for sure. There may be some weird preemption principles at play here, which is what I was getting at with the jurisdiction question. Also, if the statutes overlap, I’d imagine there’d be federal preemption on that front too.
