Of course Pelosi is dragging her feet on impeachment. If the squad wasn’t riding her to expedite impeachment wouldn’t even be happening.
What a ing joke, they're talking about the middle of next week. They could have gotten the removed if she would have impeached yesterday. Now there is going to be enough time for a ing coup to fall out of the news cycle. She won't impeach for a ing coup. So god damn worthless.
On the bright side and unrelated, John ing Fetterman is gonna run for Pat Toomey’s senate seat. I think that should be a pick up if the DNC doesn’t screw it up by trying to run a milquetoast candidate against him in the primary.

That’s fine, call the house back into session so impeachment is waiting on McConnell’s desk first thing next week. Put the burden on the GOP Senators to distance themselves from Trump. Doing nothing allows them to keep playing both sides.
Henry Cuellar is the most conservative Dem in the house and he’s voted with Trump like 70% of the time, and even he says that he supports impeachment. Pelosi definitely has the votes, she’s just old as and doesn’t have the energy to act quickly.
Meh, the Senate would only act on this after Schumer takes over. It took over a month last time for the trial to start, right?

Again, so what? If MAGA s try to stage another coup, make it so the House Dems can say they did everything they could to remove him from office but the senate GOP refused to act.
The 25th was the thing that needed to be used, not impeachment.
Even if you rush it, it’ll take days just to get it on the floor. They haven’t even agreed on what language to use if they were to impeach.
I still say start impeachment if the preferred method is not going to get used but the net result will be the same regardless if dems move as quickly as possible. The reflex to eat our own is just to strong to resist though so people have to blame the people who most want him out. Lol
I do not understand why Fetterman, the largest of them, did not simply eat the Republican delegation.
I mean it makes logical sense and I'm all for it. Just trying to see how it would actually play out and it seems like it would still be kind of a win for Trump in the end.

If the vote is a full partisan split then maybe, but you’d probably have Romney, Sasse, Collins and Murkowski at the very least on board this time.

Bare minimum is impeachment and making Republican senators go on official record as supporting the coup. Nothing else is acceptable.
I think it’s going to happen, just not quickly enough. Not a chance Trump loving Henry Cuellar says he supporters impeachment unless he thinks a vote actually happens.

This is why it’s idiotic not to impeach, sending articles of impeachment to the senate sends the senate GOP into a civil war.
The case for impeachment is that it is a vehicle for Schumer to use for uncovering evidence, including that of accomplices, and holding a trial. Retribution. Smear the traitors. Censure Cruz and Hawley.
it won't work, but Dems should propose expelling Cruz, Johnson, Hawley, just for the record.

Impeach him and insert the "he can never hold office again" clause -
then wait for schumer to put it on the floor -forcing repukes to go on the record.
If impeachment fails again - and trump returns to office again - the elections will go dems way when they expose the republicans record of supporting a coup.
