This is what we is sons. Compe ive, but mediocre team that can beat anyone and lose to anyone on any given day. We will get blown out from time to time, and will be around (slightly above) .500 all season long. Still entertaining. For my taste, it would be even more entertaining with an all youth team, tbh.

Thanks for the grades Timvp. For most of the game, they played good defense, chased Curry around, stayed with him, switching, playing good perimeter defense, until the 3rd quarter, when everything broke loose. They played good basketball the last 3 games. I think they're better defending perimeter shots now. I hope they continue. Tre and the Hawks are another hot shooting team who like to put scoring. I think the two days rest will do good, plus the team building on this trip.

    Keep pounding the rock. GSG!

It would be even more entertaining to have a superstar that can begin to take us out of this hole that Leonard shoved us into and put us back to our customary spot as real contenders.

horrible game ... I don't understand why our young team always looks more flat in b2b than the other team they played against the night before. Lonnie Walker is the Invisble Man right now.

It's too bad Pop has no interest in going that route. Part of me believes going after Don Nelson's all-time wins record.

    Regression to the mean.
exactly like the country, regressing to the historical mean of a few powerful men controlling/oppressing the populace, with extra-Cons utional DHS and right-wing militias as paramilitary SchutzStaffel waiting for orders.

I definitely agree. The Spurs' defense when LMA is on and off the court is night and day. Even with yesterday's loss, the effort level and intensity is miles better when Jakob or Eubanks are on the court. We'll see what happens on Friday, but despite the outcome, as DAFfy says, we're an entertaining team to watch at the least. Can't be mad about it after the past 2 seasons, tbh.

Lethargic play in the last half, even from the bench players who should be hustling and showing their talents when they get the chance to play some minutes. Ewbanks was an exception.

I think he initially thought he can mold this team into a contender and might be having his doubts now but will go along for the ride, wherever the team takes him. He's fine with his legacy but I'm not sure how he sees the franchise long term.

It also seems to me that he never wanted any part of a rebuild. Either way, I know he won't be around too much longer.
