Tre has that swagger, always smiling Cool-Hand-Luke at ude who will find ways to beat you. Once he starts hitting his outside shots, watch out.

Lonnie is a pure shooting guard.
Lonnie reminds me of Antonio Daniels, very athletic but quite inconsistent. He will dazzle you with his dunks, if only he could do it every night.

I really like Nate he is 6'8 super athletic and as I have said several times he is 100% Spurs material - Smart - High Ball IQ - Great Character - Very Motivated - Hard Worker. His interviews give off a David and Timmy vibe I can see Pop getting attached to this kid real quick he will be a joy to coach.

I am glad he has been able to shine it sucks for a lot of these players on Spurs team that were not drafted because all the minutes and focus is on Luka, Tre, Cam, and Woodard . As fat as Nate I think he can play SF or PF it just depends on what want from him but the dude is super athletic and is definitely geared for the run and gun of the future.

Dejuante can you post - Nate Renfro Scouting Report from 2019?

    Good comparison.

I will say that in today's NBA you can definitely run a shooting guard as a wing, especially if you get rebound production from other guards, like Murray.

A post above noted how stacked we are with good young guards and listed them. Dejounte said a good [problem to have. I inferred that Q is odd man out.

He didn't do himself any favors not being ready to play when he had the chance.

I liked Q at the Bubble, a bullish big guard, a pleasant relief after our athletic guards. But Tre is looking more like Patty’s replacement.

Yes. I meant more in terms of minutes and the rotation.

    Q is Lonnie insurance, IMO.

I’m also rooting for this guy. I think he’s more like 6’9 with 7 ft wingspan, very athletic, prides himself on his defense. I think he leads the G-League in block category? I can see Pop getting excited with this kid.

Reminds me of that breakaway dunk Danny Green had late in game 1 of the 2014 Finals. I thought he was just going to lay it up and then BOOM.

Could Renfro's ceiling be the next evolution of Bowen? He's way more athletic than Bruce, has a better offensive game than Bruce, too. He does all the little things! Good screens, hand offs, rolls well, finishes, 3pt shot which is good but can improve. Runs the break, doesn't hesitate in his defensive responsibilities, weak side help, steals, blocking, and looks like he enjoys busting his ass to shut the other team down!

He doesn't have to have the ball in his hands to effect the outcome of a game! His effort is through the roof, but it isn't sporadic or out of control. There are two videos of almost two minute highlights of Renfro and all the plays he made in a two game span, and he only scored 4 points in the two games! If I'm Q or KBD, I'm worried I'm going to get a call and be released when the G League Bubble is over! That Atlanta 4th quarter doesn't happen with players like Jones and Renfro on the floor!

Comes off the bench, same as now.

That's my guess. Taking them out of the bubble makes little sense otherwise imo. Unless maybe they think it's time for big league minutes, but the rotation has been pretty tight already, and Gay/Mills are still on the roster.

Clearly they're going to assign Vassell.

Wouldn't that be hard to do with quarantining? They're already through half of the Gubble.

Well, damn. The Austin game tonight is going to be no fun to watch outside of Renfro.

I think Austin will roll with who they have, plus maybe two pool pickups from here out. There’s no time to get Sammich or Tre back in, or get Vassell in.

How’s the OSU kid doing? Kelly? He was a block machine in college right?

I like Kenny Williams at guard, and both Cam and Mathis are quality shooters. I guess Woodard becomes the featured player now.
