If you had even a penny from every disingenuous white person who pretends to sympathize, empathize and/or speak out for the black community but didn't do anything more, you'd be able to send countless thousands of deserving black students to college.
On topic, this is a Law I see the Californians passing very soon. We have a bottom-5 public education and funds are scarce today as they were during the recession a decade ago, despite the Dems bringing in record-breaking amounts of tax revenues. No state half this size is in the ball park with how embarrassing our public education is here.
I wonder if the Oregon legislature did this so that McDonald's can get enough qualified employees since they now require a HS deploma.
