I am occasionally embarrassed for my parents generation. Things are getting better, slowly.

Not one ST Trump can define CRT but boy are they sensitive about race.
I think the biggest things that the Trump cult has a problem with is the reality that a system can function with racial bias without being intentionally designed to be that way.

Coupled with the fact that poverty causes poor decisions. We know from studies on poverty that it imposes a "cognitive tax".

The causal effect of poor decisions and poverty is reversed from where conservatives rationalize it to be, i.e. poverty causes poor decisions.

To be clear, poor decisions make poverty persistent and "sticky". It is a self-feeding cycle.

This is why conservative policies around poverty tend to fail. They don't reflect that reality.

Want to end poverty? Just give people money for a good 20-40 years or so. Two generations ought to be enough.

We can certainly afford to at this point, given productivity gains and automation.

Majority of people living in poverty need psychologist for deep rooted mental issues. Handing them money is a short term bandaid or in some cases will fuel their abuse.

    Link?

Seems like a very strong assertion. If it were true it would seem to be easily supported.

The guy who admitted CRT is a white grievance catchall.

Radical right-wingers are coaxing and tending political and ins utional violence.

You know what's also getting better, slowly. Chemo therapy--just because it's gotten better doesn't mean its good.

Impressive correlation, but school boards and administrators are still getting death threats.

Would it be CRT to mention in Texas history classes that Texas fought two wars and even gave up land to keep slavery?

Lets spend a lot less time on slavery and talk more about how good we were during the civil war.

This is what THEY want to change. Its CRT to act like Slavery was actually important.
CRT is teaching history that is not necessarily a positive attribute of our past. CRT is admission of the hypocrisy of slavery.
CRT is airing dirty laundry. Darrin probably does not want Tulsa ever mentioned in textbooks. Its CRT.

You mentioned this is your hobby. Would be cool if you visited these places you read about instead of just stewing in it.

The American time period of slavery is losing priority as the amount of Americans with heritage connection to it decreases. Asian, Hispanic and Arab communities are growing and American slavery isn't important to them. White & Black immigrants have their own history from back home to worry about.

Cliffs: you people are decreasing in importance and we aren't interested in your families drama. This is the new and different America.

    Sorry.
The US has not been around long enough and our population has not turned into people from other planets yet to make your sorry reasoning mean anything.

You have got to do better than this.
