The Minsk Agreements are not only violated, they are irreversibly torn up now that Russia “publicly” has troops in Eastern Ukraine (we all knew they were there before, but this brazen move is a throw-down to the West).
Yes, NATO boots on the ground in Ukraine because Russia has boots on the ground in Ukraine. Suggesting otherwise is nothing else but a concession to Putin. Whomever fires the first shot is another matter, but a show of force must be met with a show of force now that diplomacy has failed spectacularly.
If not now, when? What’s your strategy besides have Putin dictate the pace every step of the way?
