Russia/Putler will finally have had it with the slow progress and order a full scale assault on kyev. We will see the standard russian tactic of massive artillery barrages precede this. I think they had to pause while they brought up supplies.
They will go in, and it will be a bloodbath on both sides. At this point, I don't see the Russians really being successful, without relying so heavily on those barrages that there isn't much left to fight over. Much has been made of their numbers, but the number of enraged civilians with guns is greater still. Russia will win something of a pyrric victory, and gain so much animosity, they will be unable to hold the rest of the country, or even install a puppet government.
This will end with one or two Ukrainian cities being reduced to rubble, with shocking levels of carnage. The longer the Russians wait, the more javelins, Panzerfaust 3's, and stingers will find their way into the defenders hands.

Ah. Well, Russian units tended to have about 1/4 to 1/3 the amount of supply truck capacity of their NATO counterparts, so it is worse than you might think.
They have historically relied on their railroads for supply, but that doesn't help them on the offensive.
The fact that they don't have good maintenance practices means their truck fleet, even beyond what is getting destroyed, is simply going to start suffering some catastrophically bad maintenance issues that will only get worse over time.
Give it another few weeks of grinding, and UKR will be doing some serious counter offensives.
...I'm willin' to stand sentinel for those few weeks, RG.
