in 69 years as player, coach, spectator, season ticket holder and fan, I've never seen anything quite like that last shot that would've tied the game in the way it went in and out and around the basket. Ought to be on some kind of NBA viral hall of fame.
I knew it was pretty wild but not that rare, damn. I was at the game next to the tunnel where the Spurs left. That place was pretty loud considering how empty it was (maybe 1/3 full at that point, a lot of fans left when it was 118-111 Spurs). They might have been piping in noise.

yeah, before all the intentional fouling we had scored something like 11 points over the course of 7-8 minutes. thats as big a role in the rockets comeback as anything, let alone "modern nba 3 point shooting"
They were in the game the entire time though. They were never out of it even when Spurs offense was clicking because they were hot from deep despite being garbage in every other facet. Spurs offense went to in the 4th but Houston was never out of the game to begin with

Rockets were +39 from three. Only reason it was even close imo

When the Lakers lose tomorrow against the Mavs on a nationally televised game (TNT) the Spurs will be the 10th seed and in the play in.
At this point the Spurs may as well play to win. Knocking LA out of the play-in, when the Lakers don’t even own a first round pick, would make it even more sweet. Knocking NO out, no big deal. But LA? Might just make my season.

That last shot was pretty close to dropping. But the toilet spit that turd right out onto the floor. Murray, Keldon, and Jakob have been consistently good. I’m a little disappointed in how bad Primo has been shooting. What is going on there?

i think Primo just hit the rookie wall pretty hard ...he needs an off-season to settle down again

He has but he's playing through it - his defense is very good, probably the best perimeter defender on the team the last 10 games and he generally takes good shots, which is why Pop keeps trusting him. Shots will start falling for him.

Statistically Primo is one of the team's worst performers. You certainly can get glimpses of his talent, and I'm glad he's getting this valuable experience, but I'm hopeful we see some good progress in the maturation process next year.

Giving him lots of rope considering how young and inexperienced he is. Murray's game has evolved significantly as he's matured. Hopefully Primo can follow that trajectory.

NBA rules question. While i know this is not called 99/100, is not Poodle allowed to go straight up thus Green fouls him prior to the dunk?

Another super close win over an obviously tanking team.

    Exactly.
Don't think "being within the circle" cancels out being able to defend by going straight vertical.

What about his turnovers and all around lackluster/dumb play?

Well he is the youngest player in the NBA so dumb is bound to happen. You can tell by his interviews that he is a smart guy, he will learn to improve on his decision making. Primo seems humble and confident that's not something you can easily teach.

They hit 20 threes. They have an off night, it's a big blow out. If Spurs had a good night from down town, it's a blow out. They had 39 more points from 3 and 2 more fts. Teams don't usually lose with those stats.

He’s playing like butt, no doubt about it, I hope he turns it around
