Russia is going to have a hard time taking and holding Donna's. Before the invasion there were a lot of Russian leaning sympathizers like there were in Crimea. Now though after Russia has blown the out of their houses and businesses with indiscriminate s ing they arent gonna be too popular anymore.

I would think that like this will start popping up a lot. Something that is most likely normal and not of interest otherwise, but takes on new meaning after the twin fires yesterday.

I wonder if Putin actually thought China was going to help him as part of Russia's "limitless" partnership with China... What Russia is learning quickly is that China looks out for one country -- that country is China.

Chinese nationalists are starting to push for China to take advantage of a weakened Russia to carve it up. I ahve seen some maps where most of the Far East is gobbled up.

They may get their chance. This war looks like it contains the seeds of the final dissolution of the Russian empire.
