"This time dude; right-between-the-eyes."
Rumors has it, that russian jets or choppers hasn't crossed front line for almost three months. Air defense is already working better than expected.
Military victory is achieving goals, that was the reason of starting the war. If you remember, it was demilitarise and de-nazify ukraine. Have they reached those goals?
Did you know that finland was considered winner of winter war, althought it lost 10% of it's territory? How so? Can you explain that?
Terrorists striking civilians per par....smh
Good story on russian ammo depots getting hammered by Joe's HIMARS plus covers old topic of poor russian logistics and it leading to revealing the depot locations.
Another Russian reporter, Roman Sapenkov, said he witnessed the strike at the weekend on the Russian base at Kherson's airport.
"I was struck by the fact that the whole packet, five or six rockets, landed practically on a penny. Usually MLRS lands in a wide area, and at maximum range they scatter like a fan," he wrote, referring to multiple launch rocket systems that are less advanced than HIMARS or the M777.
Targeting may also have been made easier by the way the Russian military stores and moves its weapons.
One problem for the Russians may be the way they transport munitions, which is where the humble pallet comes into play.
Few Russian military trucks include a crane to lift heavy munitions, which are rarely carried on pallets but loaded and unloaded by hand. Plenty of ageing Soviet ZIL trucks have been seen in Ukraine.
Moving weapons and ammunition this way is bersome, time-consuming and potentially gives enemy surveillance a greater opportunity to detect such shipments. By contrast, the UK and US militaries palletize much of their ammunition or carry it in containers.
The Russians left a ludicrously easy to locate, major supply depot exactly where someone would expect to find it.

Russia can easily say they have disrupted the Nazi movement in Ukraine and that their mission is completed. There's no measuring stick for it. Ukraine can only claim moral victories if any at all.
Normal day in Chicago
Show the other side's scoreboard.
According to Ukraine forces, there wasn't a single loss in that.
So you are saying that russia can't loose, because they claim so.
If anything, this war will create more nazi or other anti russian extremists in not only ukraine but all over eastern europe. You can sugarcoat russian invasion as much as you like, but in reality it is a disaster for them. Without full mobilisation there is no way they can win.
Now they are stuck in no man's land.
Ukraine has defeated russians in the north and destroyed majority of it's best units and reduced the front to mainly east and south.
So yes, ukraine so far in this war has seen more victories than russia, if you consider the actual goals of both sides at the beginning, even if you think that those are just moral victories.
Does it look like a military object? I know that you have never been in former soviet union, so let me educate you. That building is typical soviet nine storry building with convenience store on it's side. And according to ukrainian media there are 23 dead people. Do you approve this?
It doesn't matter what the West says here, given the amount of Ukraine support from the West it would be pretty easy to dismiss anything from the West as more propaganda. Russia could only lose if Russia loses something. If I barge into your house looking for your jewelry, destroy your property and kill your family, did I lose because your jewelry was in a vault? Did you win?
Since when did countries like Ukraine clearly differentiate between military and civilian structures when housing troops or conducting military business?
It doesn't matter what I approve of, no one in Russia asked for approval. If you just want moral handwringing you won't get it from me.
What are the west saying?
As i said, russia, or more specific putin is stuck in no man's land. He can't retreat because he went all in, and now, when loses of his military equipment are piling up, he must get something to sell as a win domestically. In russia's autocratic regime he is the one risking everything.
Your analogy of breaking into house and killing everyone doesn't quiet work here, because russians may have broken into ukrainian house with intent to kill them and loot their jewelry, but because of ukrainian resistence, all they are getting is a toaster, and that is a success.
Noone is housing troops in nine story building in the middle of big city. There is no logic. Where is all the military equipment, cars, trucks, fence, weapons? Do you see them?
Do you think locals would approve the military base in the middle of their city? Would you approve? And if you would, how do you think they get there? By foot?
They killed or maimed about 100k Nazi fighters.
Thats a pretty pretty good mission imo
