    Fournier - 2 more years
THJ and Bertans - 2 more years
Duncan Robinson - 3 more years
Nest - they shouldn't bother with cap dumping anybody
Kings - are just fine salary cap wise.
Nets were the only major loss making team last season and they are still in line to pay $35.5 million in luxury tax this year after all these trades (per Hoopshype). Giving away Joe Harris should be one of the options that they will consider, I think.

Agree - BKY has no reason to pay tax and should be willing to cough up a first to save 50M lol

Repeating myself from the long trade thread, but I could see a Richaun Holmes and 2nds for McDermott swap. Sabonis and
McDermott had great chemistry in Indiana, being the #1 or #2 assister to assistee combination their last year together

    Some teams with bad contracts
    - New York: Fournier
    - Dallas: Tim Hardaway and Bertans
    - Heat: Duncan Robinson
    - BKN: Harris
    - Kings: Richaun Holmes

let see if Spurs are willing to take long term bad contracts for FRP.
Are those long term deals that Dallas has? If so they'd be smart to free up money. They'll need a good offseason to compete.

I still want to see how badly GS wants to save $156MM by trading Wiseman. He can be our 3rd C for two years while we collect some far out GS picks.

Would you do Zach for Wiseman and a future first? Like 2028? Warriors get a player the can actually play behind Looney and save a good amount of money on taxes, while the Spurs get an additional first, which could be a very juicy one in 2028, for essentially 2.3M mor tha they'd have to pay if they chose to keep Zach.

It's really mind boggling they're not desperate to dump Wiseman at the cost of $131 million. They must be using $100 bills to wipe their a$$es.

Zollins could be a sneaky good asset for some teams because he's still under team control next season ($7M team option).
I don’t know how much more Boston has to offer, but with Brown out with an injury, combined with constant injury issues with their centers, a trade including Josh and Zach to Boston would fit their needs, I just don’t know if we would get enough back to make it worth our while.

Considering all they offered for Poeltl were second round picks, I wouldn't say so.

I do wonder if there is any rumbling in the league office and amongst the owners to strengthen the Stepien Rule. The whole point of that Rule was for a team to not be able to screw itself way into the future, but if a team can trade away control of their draft for 7 years in the future (every other year's worth of picks and give away swaps in the years they do have picks), is the net effect any better?

Heat are under the luxury tax threshold by $4.9 million right now.

That doesn’t save them the tax money. To get that $130M in savings, they need to straight dump him into cap room.

Thanks Timvp. Nothing sexy, just pushing papers, absorbing bad contracts, swapping players for SRP’s, hopefully FRP’s. Spurs FO reminds me of It’s A Wonderful Life, Bailey’s Savings and Loans, scraping pennies… geez

You tell me . I’m not saying we have the best players, but Wright needs to sell them high. I was high last off-season with moving Thad, DJ, White for multiple FRP’s, young prospect Langford, etc. This time, meh

Thanks! Seems the Warriors still doesn't mind going over to their limit (salary cap and tax). It's not that I like Wiseman and/or Moody but worth a look if they can be flipped into another asset/s tho I think the chance is slim.
