Thanks Ace for posting the Vids...
Might be the last one for a while since twitter and tweetdeck are no longer functioning to my standards.

Me too, but guys mature at different rates. If Wesley isn't ready, he is worth keeping another year in Austin. I don't think most of Spurstalk will be okay with that.
For sure - he’s just the one though that is a first round pick, will have a contract decision coming up and team need is there and opportunity. So he needs to show something with a team option coming up and the train hopefully leaving the station on moving towards a playoff team soon-ish

Yeah, it's crazy how people don't understand the word "Potential" when we draft guys with that label you have to understand that is easily two but probably three year process. For me I am looking at his ability to finish at the rim and how he does breaking down his man and what reads he makes taking it to the rim or passing the ball off to an open man. Also, looking to see if he can slow down his game he had only one speed last year needs to pick his spots when to hit the gas

Exactly. Wesley is gonna "figure it out" at some point and be utterly ing unstoppable. He reminds me of Lattrell Sprewell, who was as good as anyone at times.

Wesley has a huge variance in outcomes, if he learns to finish at the rim and/or pick his spots, the sky is the limit. If he doesn't, he might be out of the league in a couple of years. But it's definitely a story I'm very interested in following and I'm rooting for him, seems like a great guy.

Barlow also looks like he put on some muscle. Very excited to see these guys play. One thing about Wesley is he's a hard worker and fearless, which is why I think he will make the neccessary leap

He will definitely be off the Spurs if he doesn't figure it out relatively quick. I'd hate to see him turn into a world killer several years after the Spurs are forced to release him.

Seems like the guys legitimately like being around Victor tbh. Obviously they’re not going to say “yeah the guy is a bag” to the media, but you can tell from the way they talk about him that he’s made a really good first impression. Just reinforces what we’ve been hearing which is that he really does check damn near every box - it’s not just about the talent.

Barlow matured a TON. He was not this well-spoken last year. I’m very impressed how much he’s seemingly grown up. No more deer in head lights look and giving all the right answers. He’s very comfortable. He might replace our second round pick next year, lol.

I saw these videos pre-draft and forgot to post them.
He notes his improvement areas with Spurs specifically citing "that he needs to become a better finisher."
    That's discussed in Part 2.

You then see in his workout videos he's starting to practice using a floater in a couple of instances.

It'll obviously be a work in progress but the kid is a reported gym rat, excited to see the results.

Love hearing Branham talk about defense. Let's do it, Malaki.

Barlow sounds settled and grounded and mature.

Latrell Sprewell was one of my favorite players as a kid. If he can be that sort of player, I'll be ecstatic. Having said that, I am definitely willing to give him more time if he needs it to develop. I thought he was great starting off last season and wonder how it would have went for him had he not hurt his knee a few games into it. I think he was really confident and ready to go, but the injury put him back a bit. Really excited about him. If he can improve all those things he mentioned, he can be great.

As for Sochan, what is going on with his knee? How is it still sore? What is the injury diagnosis (anyone know)? Doesn't sound good if it's still sore as his season ended almost three months ago.

yea, that's definitely in the back of my mind. Why is it still sore?! Make a clean up will be required

Wesley with a floater and a little knowledge of the offense is going to make him scary.

As a team player, he was at his best with the Knicks. He and Allan Houston could fill it up.

I’d buy his jersey if that happened tbh

Blake making a huge leap to become a rotational player at point would be so great and would solve so many of the problems this roster will have this upcoming season tbh
