Southern white woman embellishing an interaction with a black man to play the victim? Never happened before.
her response claiming she tapped him on the shoulder (wrong), was backhanded across the face (appears to be wrong) and nearly fell down (wrong)?

Bryn should have been watching Wemby's back -- literally. Wemby is walking straight, Bryn's one job is to make sure he doesn't get rushed from another angle, IMO.
The police report is online. They interview members of brittneys security team and they tell the cops wembys team acted with a standard response under the cir stances.
Washed up celeb embellishes a non-story to manufacture publicity to help reignite her fading relevancy. A story as old as time tbh. Nothing to see here. Time to move on.
Wemby doesn't even know who this broad is![]()
Once the video dropped, news outlets tweeted that Victor lied about being tapped, even tmz as well. That’s what you got from the video, that he was the one lying? And plus, there’s a guy that covers for a second or two her hands on him where she still could have grappled him instead of tap. They are already assuming he lied when you can’t make that definitive determination by that video alone. I’m sure another angle will show her grabbing his shirt or something.
The only other Britney/Spurs story I remember was a reporter asking Jackie Butler (that dude still alive?) what it was like growing up in the same small town in Mississippi as Britney Spears.
You ever delt with people that have had the beaten out of them like she has? I am not saying it was right or justified, only that I could understand.
Hint: they do not respond well and confuse things.
the incident here does not remotely resemble a " beaten out of you" experience
I've heard he got slapped in the face by Pamela Anderson's security guard in Malibu. He reportedly said to TMZ: "I just wanted to say hi". But since he's a black guy and she's a white girl, he's in jail now.
of course not. PTSD does not require the exact re-creation to trigger.
She’s not exactly hypervigilant
And she wasn't in Fallujah either. Doesn't mean she doesn't suffer from PTSD.
yes and the proper way to deal with that is to make public comments about the incident that caused the trigger to stir up
I imagine it felt very real to her. Again, I do not think that it was right or justified. You should stop arguing like I am.
Wouldn’t be surprising. Nor would it be surprising for her recollection of the event to be a mix of what actually happened and her reliving earlier trauma. She certainly doesn’t go out of her way to avoid confrontation, though, whether that’s because of en lement, or instability, or both.
Regardless, the entire altercation is still her fault, and Damian Smith acted appropriately.
According to ESPN just now, police confirmed no charges will be filed. So much ado about nothing.
im not. but you said you understood her reaction. i understand that she might confuse the events. i dont understand making public comments about it, especially when her comments came after the point in time where the security team apparently spoke with her (and they mutually apologized about the misunderstanding)
The police report said that the Wembanyama security member went to Spears to apologize while she was eating dinner. A member of Spears' security told police that both sides said sorry for the misunderstanding.

this wasnt some spur of the moment "i literally just got struck, let me make a comment about it." her public statement came out well after the fact. the incident happened wednesday. apparently the spurs security people already cleared the air with her that day while she was eating dinner. her comments came out on thursday. there's no "understandable" reason for that
She definitely exhibits a sense of en lement but she is a celebrity. That is pretty par for the course.
I agree that she initiated contact and that Wemby's guard was justified.
LMAO virtue signaling at its best! her and her mental health. WEMBY TIME!!!
You're telling me what the "proper' response would be. What does that rebut, counselor? Perhaps that her response was proper?
We have no idea what was said or where her head was at outside of limited information. I am just saying that given her history, the response is an outcome that makes sense.
Virtue signaling goes bot ways. You just signaled but in the opposite direction.
im suggesting that it doesnt make sense, even given her history. it would make sense if immediately after the incident she made a huge deal out of it and made exaggerations that she thought to be true even if they were not. it does not make sense to make those public comments a day later, after a point and time where the security team had already expressed their apologies to her
