The Spurs both need guards but have too many guards. It's weird. They shouldn't give up on Wesley, but he's giving off almost Metu-esque vibes. With a bad enough camp, he might not make the team. I didn't think that was possible, but the Spurs need a real PG to put into the mix, and they can't really afford to use so many spots on guys who can't get the job done.

If only you could take Cissoko's natural playmaking skills and put them in Wesley, we would have a serious prospect in our hands.

Did you see that play where Cissoko served as the PG and playmaker, then dished it out to Wesley on the wing, who then blew my his man for a wide open layup (which he missed)?
I feel like that would be the more natural alignment for their respective strengths.
