Now we'll see if Putin is just talking out his ass, or, not.
Ukrainska Pravda: Biden administration criticises Ukrainian strikes in Crimea as waste of resources – CNN
Some military and US presidential officials have criticised Ukraine for striking occupied Crimea, as they see it as a distraction at best and a waste of resources at worst.
“It’s knocked the Russians off balance a bit, but it is not doing anything decisive,” a senior defense official told CNN. “And it would probably be better for everyone for them to just focus on the counteroffensive.”
One unnamed senior defence official said that "it’s knocked the Russians off balance a bit, but it is not doing anything decisive".
"And it would probably be better for everyone for them to just focus on the counteroffensive," the same official added.
Now we'll see if Putin is just talking out his ass, or, not.
All our country's individual instances of irresponsible spending are a lot in aggregate...
...and only seem like less individually when foolishly compared to the ever growing grand total.
The bill will come due for our country at some point, and it will be very ugly for everyone's personal finances unless the current trajectory changes.
Welcome to the mantra’s of our past, junior.
Oh yeah, this right here.
You with them in every way possible.
Are you related to snakeboy?
...that "current trajectory" will not change until "very ugly" is delivered unto us.
ADDENDUM: Understand this; we have to see it first. We must see and feel "very ugly" and then we'll know and self flagellate mercilessly. That's America.
I thought every man 18 and over had to come back from Poland, heel up and report to the front. I think I was mistaken.
tee, hee.
Again we spent $110b in 18 months. Over that time we have spent $8000b. IOW, 1.5% of our outlays are to Ukraine.
You think that spending 1% of your income to prevent your friend from losing his house to a thieving en y is bad personal finance?
Talk about poor reasoning.
What's the end game? I'm not going to pretend I have the answers.
I think you are supporting doing this for the next 5 years.
Theoretically Putin could fall sick. I don't forsee the wealthy or the common man over-throwing him.
Putin can stop it anytime he wants.
Chicken or the egg. Russian viewpoint NATO broke an agreement not to expand.
There was no agreement.
meh. click bait headline.
Russia has been selling a lot of oil to China and India. Falling currency values for China means Russia's oil exports will bring in even less money.
(EDIT)
And china will be demanding less energy overall, as well as less raw materitals. Demand for the stuff that russia extracts will be going down, at the same time its currency devalues. Double whammy.

Ass-end-of-mule.
One week later (way more than required for a 3-5 day SMO) and -ass hater is hiding!
Called it, he is the kiss of death!!!!
Ass-end-of-mule.
What is my endgame:
Force Russia out of all of Ukraine especially Crimea.
Force Russia to join with the world's economy once again.
If they have a stake in the world wide economy helping them no matter who is in power, Im for it. Chips in the game and you will be more likely to play.
Both Ukraine (huge rebuild) and Russia will need a huge changes to integrate again. And appropriate help.
In both, corruption will of course be a problem, so the people might need to be completely exhausted and tired of this stupid of war and corruption.
My end game. Pipe dream? Maybe, but it is a goal to shoot for.
Now of course Trumpstes dont believe a world wide economy even exists (or if it does its evil...) they dont even think the US has a stake in it. And that, is pure stupidity.
The livin' end, kids? If Trump had sustained his Presidency, I'd be you, & you'd be me. Yeah. I'd be cheering for Trump, Ukr/Nazi's and the U.S.A.. You'd be cheering for Putin and Russia.
Just shows ta go ya.
