Personally I think it's poetic that in the middle of a major republican appointment where they're completely unable to read the room and make politically educated decisions, you're arguing about their past ability to make politically educated predictions, pretending like they were expecting to get trounced. How is that better, exactly? This isn't sports, expecting to get beat means you did an objectively job of campaigning.

Isn't that what he's always done? Even in old sports related arguments he'd fall back on that as his defense mechanism so he wasn't losing in his own mind. I remember when he was still Giuseppe and he wound up growing the balls to say something about Koris kids straight to her and she tossed him from the site.
