Every ultra conservative, ultra nationalist, far right government in Europe is borderline autocratic, if not full blown. See: Hungary, Turkey, Russia... the pretense of democracy in those places is just that, a pretense. Why would the US want to import that?
I'm not talking about pendulum swings, like Italy, which voted right wing but aligned pretty quickly with the west, because they know where their bread is buttered.

Our children shall not have lives to live if we do not dig shelters; and without the barbed wire fence and the machine gun, we shall not pave a path nor drill for water. The millions of Jews, annihilated without a land, peer out at us from the ashes of Israeli history and command us to settle and rebuild a land for our people. I agree with what you're saying. Ideally USA deserves a hard resett back to the basics of who we are and what we need. Americans as society but especially people lack the foundations & basics.
Migrants from other parts of the World struggle to connect because we fail to focus on the basics

Same with Russia & Nazi occupied Ukraine. Death tallies is like (cause of death) in the "newspapers" now...about half the time there is nary attribution. Another few years and the only causation will be when foul play is involved.

A group of hostages was seen leaving Gaza in a Red Cross convoy late Saturday night local time.
The Red Cross had earlier confirmed that it was headed to the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt with the hostages, according to the Israel Defense Forces.
Hamas said it had handed over 13 Israelis and seven foreign nationals to the organization, though Qatar and the IDF each said the number of released foreign nationals was only four.
