Also I think UT would consider it absolutely vital playing a top team out of conference and Alabama would say to with that stuff anymore. Even though Alabama got a gift from Auburn and UT maybe from KState and Houston. But FSU had a squeaker with Boston College and Georgia had some very close games as well but not as close as the aforementioned.

Yeah, keep in mind Auburn got crushed the week before... by New Mexico State... at home.

Doesn't matter. They did what they were supposed to do. Why don't the rules apply to SEC teams? Alabama lost. Alabama ed over Georgia. Any other conference, everyone would say happens and move on. Not precious SEC because ESPN has a stake in propping the conference up.

I just don't think FSU from these recent past two games is not a top 4 team, you can't tell me this team right now without Travis can hang with Michigan, Washington, UT, and Bama. Game would not even be close. But like I said, with how this years committee has been, FSU is in due to them using "deserving" mindset and not "best".

But by your rationale, it's about who's the best, not who deserves it. So a one-loss Georgia team is better than everyone on the list. , Georgia with two losses is better than undefeated FSU with an injured QB

Either FSU deserves it based on what happened, or Georgia deserves it because they're better and everyone knows it.

So my thinking may be way off here but if being undefeated outweighs (current) quality of play then Florida State has to be #3, ahead of Texas and Alabama. However, if we're saying the being undefeated doesn't outweigh quality of play, then how could only Texas or Alabama jump Florida State and not both teams jump Florida State. Because Texas and Alabama look way better and more balanced than Florida State right now, so either both teams jump Florida State or neither team does. This is obviously only my opinion.

If FSU QB is healthy they might be #1 TBH. Regardless, I have them in my top 4 like I said they should be if they won tonight (no matter how they looked).

And I don't think FSU getting blown out means the committee shouldn't have put them in. I appreciate the conversation as well, but I hate that they make it subjective, because that always gives them a chance to push, in order, the SEC, Ohio State/Michigan, Notre Dame, Texas/OU, the PAC 12 over everyone else. As with everything else, it's a huge scam and a money grab.

Texas won their conference and beat the SEC champion on their own field by double digits. All the other teams are undefeated. This is the kind of criteria the BCS claims to go by. I'm not saying they are the 4 best teams, but if we are sticking with the formula those are the teams that should get in
