Victor currently has a higher PER than:
- Stephen Curry
- Jayson Tatum
- Damian Lillard
- Jamal Murray
- Jimmy Butler
- De'Aaron Fox
- Tyrese Maxey
- Trae Young
- Karl-Anthony Towns
- Bam Adebayo
- James Harden
- etc...
Trolling doesn't really work when it's Victor Wembanyama. Imagine someone trolling Cleveland fans in 2003/2004 because Melo had a better rookie season![]()

Am I misreading, Durant is sub 30% on 3 this season?? I have a hard time believing that.
I meant after 40 games into their careers. I'm comparing their rookie years. But you're right, I should have specified.
Ah, my bad. That makes sense, and is super impressive. Also gives my hope for VWs 3 pointer!
if he can increase his FG% by 5% and play 34 minutes, that will be really good numbers. Now if he can have reliable 3 point shooters around him to punish the double team, thats going to be interesting.
Vic mentioned working with "Jimmy" (Barron) on his shooting during a post-game interview recently. He seems to have made a big difference with Sochan, so there's hope I think.
Also imagine rocket fan trolling when theyve fallen back into the lottery after predictably coming back down to earth and the best they have to show for it is Alperin ing Sengun lol. Djohn is an idiot who hyped up Parsons > Leonard back then so all the flexing is hilarious

he has to go back downstairs to talk in the other thread more so than lakers and mavs fans. Someone is angry they didnt get Wemby.
But there are people who believe Chet is ROTY![]()
Victor:
Season 20.5 PPG | 10.1 RPG | 3.1 APG | 1.1 SPG | 3.1 BPG | 46.5/30.5/80 FG% 28.5 MIN
January 24.4 PPG | 9.7 RPG | 3.3 APG | 0.8 SPG | 3.2 BPG | 51.2/33.9/81.1 FG% 26.1 MIN
Chet:
Season 17 PPG | 7.5 RPG | 2.7 APG | 0.6 SPG | 2.5 BPG | 53.8/37.8/77.3 FG% 30 MIN
January 15.5 PPG | 6.9 RPG | 3.2 APG | 0.5 SPG | 2.3 BPG | 52.8/33.3/59 FG% 30.2 MIN
Victor is progressing, Chet is regressing.

double post sorry
Pretty sweet vid. My brain still short-circuits every time I see that Charlotte Hornets card.
The sounds I made when that Charlotte card flipped, I will take it to my grave
durant made over 40% of his 3's in college, the positive regression was always expected. vic has a ways to go
Hahahaha I had forgotten about that horrible take. djohn2oo8![]()
Adding the Twitter version of the video as they haven't made the YouTube one available outside of North America I think.
Nice video on Thanasis & Westbrook
yeah there wasnt much wemby content there tbh, maybe the first minute or whatever
Djohn clearly trolling because even he isn't that dumb tbh.
But the Rockets have whiffed on 2/3 top 5 picks so far, possibly 3/3 but I'm still high on Amen.
Sengun is obviously nice but he's still a non-defending 5 which, outside of an undersized PG, is probably the least desirable franchise player archetype tbh (and yes, both the defensive/offensive gap between Jokic and Sengun is still MASSIVE).
They'll probably swap out Green for Whitmore within a season or two I guess but, outside of a massive jump from Jabari/Amen in the next 2-3 years, they've probably got the bleakest future in the division.
i still like jabari tbh. he's still 20, bumped up his efficiency quite a bit. he needs to become a more impactful defender tho, especially alongside Sengun
I don't know about that, tbh. He laughed at the idea of Kawhi being better than Aldridge, back when both played for us and everybody with any kind of idea already realized who the much better player was. He's also a huge homer and Spurs hater that signed up to a Spurs forum just to get constantly on. You have to be either dumb or a masochist to enjoy that, tbh.![]()
The spurs since starting Tre have been 5-8. The rockets record for the last 13 games has been 4-9. So..
