Let's try get Sarr in the draft.
Commentator said he look gassed and also Spurs were playing 7 home games in 11 nights. Also, this is Wemby's first time going through a 82 games schedules. So should be Pop managing this minutes and not on restriction due to his ankle.
Let's try get Sarr in the draft.
Sarr plays for my local team, perth wildcats. Hes real good . Can shoot the three is very mobile on both ends and a fantastic teammate. Just realize he will get pushed around easier than Wemby does if you plan on planting him at centre.. One redeeming trait compared to Wenby . He not as loose with the ball

You don't plant him at center but sometimes he can switch there to allow Wemby more flexibility away from being planted at center.
I should know who he is as the Wildcats were my favourite team when I was a kid, but I haven't followed the NBL for a long time.
I just found this article and Alex Sarr seems like a really good kid
That last quote of his has been my thought for years in regard to improving and getting better (I feel being on a losing team that isn't trying to win (in most cases) doesn't make you a better player or teach you what it takes to win games), but I guess he's not Spurs material with their current philosophy and a line like thathttps://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-01-...raft/103359764
It was the chance to compete for a trophy which attracted Sarr to Perth.
"I wanted to be part of the NBL because of the physicality of the league and how much the game looks like the NBA game," he explained.
"You're competing for something here.
"I think you improve the most when you're actually trying to win a game, so that was huge in my decision to come to the Wildcats.".

Just recently after an injury that had him out for 3weeks.. He came out saying he was committed to playing out the finals when there were reports he would save himself for the draft ending his cats season. . Its a risk but he put his team first.
The problem with Sarr is he is a Center and we all ready have a Center with Wemby so doesn’t make much sense taking him with our pick.
Exactly. All of these "unicorn" style bigs are C's and unlike 5-10 years ago, teams have stopped with the pretense (save Mobley, because they have Allen).
Individually and team wise, offensively they're much better as the lone big and their physical/skill advantages are greater too.
Spurs can't shoot
FG% in 30s and low 40s keeps spurs as season long basement dwellers
in first quarter Spurs were shooting under 30%, at home
I get this but it is indistinguishable from a minutes restriction. If the Spurs develop an offense that focuses on Victor's strengths instead of having him run around like a wild man while scrubs call their own numbers over and over with horrible shooting results, maybe Victor gets more of a blow between transitions.
Between being overrated, the stat padding, the dirty play and the cowardice after being confronted, I'd say yeah. And only the tosb version.
That's weird, the cedar pollen hasn't been too bad since our 3 days of winter last month. Right before that though JFC it was bad.
I actually dont like Cedi and his play-acting.. and defense.
