Why do we continue to help and leave someone open for 3...
Especially when we have the best shot blocker in the league protecting the rim if a guy gets beat.

Imagine being Supreme Ruler of the Spurs organization and you have no accountability. It's the times we're living in.

Remember last year when everyone hated Sochan. He's showing some good stuff so far this season.

Looks like he's done some serious work on his post game, looks good.
That's what I wanted this summer, we know his shot isn't going to improve right away, but he had to improve his paint presence.

Yep, he had 9 rebounds to go with his 22 points I am very happy with that.

Sochan has grown. Spurs could have the best front court next season.

Embarrassing first half sunk this ship.

Second half was much better but that sequence with what, 5 straight attempts right below the rim and missed every single one of them. They boarded well but it didn’t matter because they couldn’t drop the ball in a lake.

Caused a lot of errors down the stretch with but couldn’t make em pay. Also gambled on the wrong guys to miss wide open threes. I don’t care what Green was doing, I’d rather leave him open than VanVleet.

I hate hate hate these winnable losses.

Hmmmm.. Green going supernova from 3, our threes not falling, Wemby not getting hot and everyone else struggling? I’ll take it, especially after it was looking like a blowout early on.

Also, Wemby came up big in some other areas tonight, but where was his scoring? Not gonna win many games with him in the 12-15 range

This is a 3 point shooting league. Teams shoot more 3s than they do midrange and we continue to let teams shoot wide open 3s every game hoping they will miss.

Apparently to the spurs it’s not. Its the reason they keep drafting non shooters while pretending those same non shooters are elite at defense

Houston just came back with a DON'T LET WEMBY INSIDE UNDER NO CIR STANCE AND FOCUS ON HIM ALL NIGHT LET OTHERS BEAT US strategy and it worked tonight. That's not gonna be the whole season don't worry.

Brooks was the main defender but they all collapsed on him as soon as he passed the 3 pt line, did you guys not notice? It was a team strategy, not just one guy.

This team — Sochan, Keldon, even Wemby at times — is still too damned goofy at inopportune times.

Like, just grab a ing rebound instead of dinking it off 6 teammate hands and then letting the other team grab it. Stop leaving known 3-point shooters to double-team nobodies. And in turn, nobody bricks open 3s like the modern Spurs. It's the same kind of dumb from the last 5-6 years.

Start working on Castle's jumpshot now. And don't ing leave up to him to work on it during the summer. Program that . 1000 3s every day this coming offseason. Nobody wants to be saying "if only he had a jumper" in 3 years.

I admit to not seeing the game. I’m watching the World Series, but is there a reason why Wemby has only shot the ball 11 times? Are we ignoring him or is he being a passive little b?
His offensive game is actually pretty limited, and any stout player, like Dillon Brooks, will keep him out of the paint. At present, his advantage is that most any sort of jumper is always technically kind of open because he is so tall. I guess he needs to just shoot more Js.

I'm kind of starting to wish he was more 6'11-7' with a strong body.

Regardless, in the offseason he needs to work on a go-to post move.
