Hopefully they absorb his brain before he retires

Paul just called this team a really talented team “contrary to what people say out there”. CP3 reads ST confirmed

First game of the season with no dry spells, everyone did their job except Collins.
Branham was tasked with a job he shouldn't be doing.

Before the game I wrote this will be the real test for our defense and they did great. Held them to under 100pts before scrubs came in.
Yeah, they were on a b2b, but still. Gobert ran off the floor yet again.

If we can get a proper backup big and one more good shooter, we might be onto something.

That might‘ve been the best basketball this team has played in the last 3 years. And of course Pop had to be sick that day, what a coincidence

Dude perfectly managed the end of this game.

Slow down the dribble. Use the clock. Make smart passes.

I feel like the young guys feel like they have to play at 100 MPH all the time.

He's arguably been our best player despite Wemby's 5x5.

Hopefully Sochan stays at this level for good. That’s a really nice piece to have and without a doubt a nice starter next to Wemby.

Hopefully can get 2-3 more years of CP3. Will still be nice to have him as a steady hand off the bench as Castle transitions into starting PG in a year or two.

Winning this game after the dramatic Nuggets-Wolves game the night before was actually quite foreseeable.

Really great example tonight what this time can do when things click, and specifically when we get production out of Keldon’s role on the team. Unfortunately, Keldon is not consistent at all. If we were serious about winning (which I still think we should be), I think upgrading Keldon would do wonders.

Collins was still garbage and I don’t understand why we are still getting Point Branham minutes, but it was a great win.

Thought Wemby played much better than he did against Utah, despite a less impressive stat line. He was truly game changing with his interior defense and created fantastic gravity on the offensive end without forcing too much. Still a few ill advised threes, but I’d say it was closer to the right amount (as opposed to 13 versus Utah).

And yeah… CP3 was great tonight. We got 2012 CP3 tonight, and it made a huge difference. That PnR game with Sochan was so money tonight.

Hope this new Sochan is the real Sochan, he’s been awesome.

CP3 is really very good with this squad, how he directs people. The guys are just getting smarter every game.

He looked washed on Golden State. Idk if it's just because our roster lacks talent or CP is more motivated but I'm glad he can still hoop. Was almost expecting him to be like a Jacque Vaughn kind of production.

I think CP3 is genuinely enjoying mentoring the young squad, with him getting much autonomy to direct people.

Mitch played Branham at point, so he didn‘t have to play Sochan and Castle together to mess up the spacing. Something Pop would never think of.

I think we’re going to get ups and downs with CP3. The BBIQ will be there consistently, but the physical abilities might not be night and night out… just what happens at that age, but he’ll still be a positive. Hopefully both he and the staff will be able to have the awareness to see the nights he doesn’t have it and throttle the minutes accordingly.

GS is a movement offense, CP3 is much more structured and ball control style

Chris Paul is going to get some really nice compensation when we trade him to a contender later in the year. Hopefully the team really picks his brain before then
