Will Hunting I guess good news for Dems is that they seem to have really gotten very lucky down-ballot despite the massive electoral and popular vote margin.
Won some narrow House races very tight, flipped 3 NY seats, (did lose 3/4 vulnerable rust belt seats as I called it including both PA in bents), and looks like both Slotkin and Baldwin are going to hang on very, very, very narrowly at the last minute, on fortunate cir stances like the Michigan Muslims voting Trump and calling it a ballot and the Wisconsin GOP outside of Waukesha having a lot of voters agnostic to the senate race as well.
Regardless, China Dave beat out the strongest in bent (And that seat is unlikely to flip back in 2030 as McCormick is a Toomey type, not a Mastriano/Oz type), Lake is still somehow alive due to Trump's margin expanding in AZ big, Moreno/Sheehy predictably won (lol Sherrod Brown) and the GOP is overperforming across the board in California down ballot, not just in hold seats but also in flip opportunity seats.
I'm proud of both Eric Hovde and Mike Rogers for running hard-fought, strong campaigns despite being underfunded and largely unknown to start the cycle. As they're pretty proven now I can see a political future for both of them; Hovde finally taking out Evers or whoever the Dem governor candidate is in 2026; and Rogers running for either Senate against another weak in bent (Michigan now has two of them) or potentially governor, we'll see. Both are quality candidates and candidate quality matters.
