We got Wemby and we literally can't tank unless he suffers a serious injury.
At the end of last season we sat our 2nd, 3rd and 4th best player, it didn't matter.
We'll probably get close to doubling our wins from last season and we added just two veterans as complementary pieces.
And as I wrote many times, just look at other top teams and their rosters. Thunder have one top10 pick who's an important rotation member.
Grizzlies got two and somehow they keep winning with G-leaguers even when their entire roster is injured.
Mavs managed to build a contender around Luka with very little after they wasted most of their good assets.
Nuggets won a ring with one top10 pick and managed to pick the best player in the league in second round.
Same goes for the Bucks. Second best player in the league was 15th pick and their second option during that championship run was a second round pick.
We got Champagnie who was discarded not that long ago and basically out of the league playing better than most lottery picks. And our core pieces were #1, #4, #9 and #11 picks. We don't deserve any more lottery luck.
And yet we'll be able to move into top10 with ease this year with our two picks that will probably be in #11-18 range or so.
And yet people still want to tank as if we haven't seen enough examples of teams tanking for too long and never being able to recover from it.
With that being said, I also think we must make one big move this summer, if not two.
