Castle may or may not develop a jump shot in a couple years, but even if he does, we don't really have enough in the pipeline. And anyway, we are waiting for Vic to get physically stronger before he can metaphorically carry us, and that's gonna take some time too.

I also think that early run was flukey. Most teams are still figuring things out or coasting. “It’s only November” is the old saying we threw around here during the contending seasons when bad teams would beat us. Playing your best ball in November means absolutely nothing.

Now teams figured us out and we peaked. At least the losses should start evening out now. No way do I want PATFO to think this team has any shot of making a playoff run. Time to stop the sentimental crap and time to put talent on this team.

Absolutely not happy with this loss. No Ja Morant and you get your ass whipped? That's a lottery team. The Grizzlies are good, but the Spurs layed down, and Mitch acted like a not challenging that goal tending call. Didn't even call a timeout to stop that run (or did he?).

I really thought the Spurs could make a run at the play-in, but it's not looking like it at all now. This loss was a bad one. Still upset they'd get smashed when the Grizz had their best player missing. As I said, the Grizzlies are good, but if you want to make the playoffs, this is a game you have to win when the other team is missing their best player and you're playing at home.

We are playing teams with way better players than we have.

After Wemby, the other team has somewhere between 2 and 5 of the next best players in the game

Unless we are playing the worst teams in the nba, the other's team shooting guard is better than Devin, the other teams power forward is better than Sochan, the other teams small forward is better than Barnes, and the other teams backup center is better than collins and/or bassey.

he probably meant he called so many that he couldn't waste the ones reserved for the 4th in the 3rd. Makes perfect sense, I mean you need those time outs to run a play for the third stringers once we're down 25
