AS can make a deal to put Luka in LA but can't force him to stay. Unlikely LA can afford to punt anything anymore. They need to be in constant win now mode with Luka there.
They had private meetings with Luka to which LeBron wasn’t invited. Luka knows exactly what is going on. He’s also not 40, and at the end of the line. He can wait for them to build.

We work with them without letting them run the whole show like the Lakers did. I think it started with the Marcus Morris debacle. They dropped him as a client after that.

We have a player they really want to put their guys with in Wemby. That’s a powerful amount of leverage, enough to get us Fox for 25 cents on the dollar.
Just hoping it doesn't go sideways at this point, generational talent in tow and all. Not saying Klutch is acting with malice, just not a fan of how they do business.

Point still stands regardless. Feels like the agency wants to link up with Wemby. They have considerable leverage with the Lakers.
how when the Lakers don’t give 2 s about LeBron and he wants to leave? The only leverage Klutch got is LeBron leverage and he‘s 40.

Klutch made the Fox deal happen, not Brian Wright. That was like 80% Rich Paul.

One of LAs problems was that the owner of Klutch was in their locker room.

But the coaches and the general manager being affiliated with Klutch isn’t? Are they not in close proximity with the players too?

Yeah it’s those antics (LeBron pulling off that drama) I want the team to avoid. I mean at some point organizations will have to deal with agencies like Klutch, I’m just hoping there are checks in place to avoid handing them considerable sway within the organization. Apparently the general manager is already affiliated with Klutch.

They don’t own or run Klutch. You’re trying to compare the CEO of USAA, and policy holders.
