No. Moving away from Trump would be admitting they were terrible people for supporting such an awful person. Besides, the Republicans would rather die than vote for any other party, so it doesn't really matter what their opinion is of Trump.

I like how they all have just looked the other way on Trump's racist and misogynistic comments but talking about Rob Reiner is where they draw the line.
I think Trump's obvious deterioration and his cratering popularity have something to do with it too. The man looks and sounds bad, his government looks more inept and out of touch by the day.

meh, Trump/Vance can have them. They aren't the majority, they may be a "powerful" voting base in that they're high turnout for the presidential elections, but they typically don't vote hardly at all in midterms and special elections, which helps the other side.

The slight majority of Catholics I think will vote conservative for the foreseeable future because of abortion issues. I think the vast majority of evangelicals are extreme alt right and don't even realize it. Anecdotally speaking.
