1. Vincent D'Onofrio---I love character actors; he's the ultimate chameleon

2. Kevin Spacey---he's awesome in drama or comedy

3. Jeremy Irons---just because

4. Michael Caine---always loved him, but Cider House Rules is classic

5. Chris Cooper---another excellent character actor

6. John Cusack---on the cusp of greatness

7. Robert Downey Jr.---Chaplin

8. Ryan Gosling---started moving up my list after Half Nelson

9. George Clooney---robbed by the Academy for Brother Where Art Thou?

10. Cary Grant---the dorkier he was the more I love him!!!

Matt and Russell are a bit overrated, BUT JUST TO ME. Matt's gifted, talented and deserves to be in ANYONE'S Top 10 and Crowe's good but only in a Christian Bale kinda way (Batman Begins reference).

Bale isn't overrated. He's severely underrated. Russell is overrated now, but his films are still very good. Not always because he's carrying them, though, unlike some films in the past. Damon is under or overrated. He just is. His dry wit really worked well in Dogma. He's was creepy as in The Talented Mr. Ripley and as Jason Bourne he freakin' kicks ass!

Bale doesn't typically do the standard Hollywood fare. Even this Batman stuff kind of rose to the levels of success. It certainly wasn't expected. Very few thought the series should be revised.

And whomever has said Guy Pearce, I'm with you 100%. Great actor. Wish he did more work.
