He has been Manu. This is Manu on occasion and you need to deal with it. Manu is brilliant, and Manu is wonderful, but on occasion Manu is really ing stupid. Hopefully really ing stupid Manu takes a seat for the rest of the play offs or at least for the rest of this series.

True, but he's been even more uncharacteristic by Manu standards
He's become the out of control Manu on occasion, but usually he has a high ratio of amazing plays to make up for every crazy TO causing play. He usually has an answer for his ups. that's usually how his game has worked for the last four years..

This Manu has just made consecutive bad plays one after the other.

The team better hope Manu has an answer for his horrific play in game 3....

not even that, his whole at ude is anti manu.

even when he sat on the bench, the ballboy gave him his warmup and manu looked at him and threw that back in his face saying something like "puta madre, cabron!!!"

somethin really wrong with that vato

Yeah, I loved seeing him turn the ball over about 5 times in a row.

    We need more of that.

Wow. Manu with all those turnovers... Is his ankle still bothering him?
his ankle has something to do with his careless play?

yeah and weren't they almost all in the first quarter?...if Manu's ratio of good plays to bad plays holds up, it means he's going to have like 18 20 consecutive good plays in game 3?

I agree. Manu's injuries would only affect things like his drive, and lift, not turnovers. He's probably thinking too much about what he's able to do and not do, but that only means he's not playing through his injuries as well as he should.

I don't care about hte excuses for any of the teammates. They're all sucking mentally so far.

How many times has Manu started? And how many times has Manu fouled out?
The question you should ask is how many times over Mangoo's career has Pop had to protect Mangoo from foul problems. Its very obvious to the world outside of SA why Mangoo comes off the bench.

Mangoo can't control himself so Pop gets a head start controling him by sitting him the first 4 minutes. Give or take.

If Pop Started Mangoo. Mangoo would get 2 fouls before end of 1st quater. Pop would take him out. Mangoo would come back in durning 2nd and get his 3rd foul.Pop would have to sit the beast again. Mangoo starts 3rd and would pick up his 4th and Pop would sit him. So on and so forth.

You can't count on Mangoo staying out of foul trouble so Pop gets ahead of the game. 99 % of NBA players don't foul out but for the ones that get into trouble the coaches manage them like Pop does Mangoo.

    It is what it is.

    What the is Pop doing?

WE've gotta start Manu the rest of the series. the bench. The big three ALL NEED to be starting so NO can't key in on Tony and Tim. Having Manu out there with Tim and Tony stops NO from keying in on those two. I would have made that move at half time of game 1.

And Pop, what the are you doing with Peja??????? You should have had Bruce on Peja in game 1 and for S SAKE you should most definitely have had Bruce guarding Peja ALL of game 2. You're slitting your own teams throats.

Peja was part of the big 3rd quarter run in game 1 and tonight Peja is also a huge part of NO 3rd quarter run again tonight. IT POP. WAKE UP MAN.
Just a joke but Mike D'Antoni is available? Until the Hornets win one at San Antonio the series is very much alive.

They just need to come out of halftime with a little more if they want to win the series. The 3rd quarter has been the difference. What's the problem? I think they need Gino to start in the 3rd next to Parker and Bowen. They need to start Oberto again---he hustles more than anyone (not much of a threat to score).

Manu need to slow his ing roll and get his t together for real. Last night was the first I really saw him ing angry. NO didn't do anything spectacular because SA was giving them what they wanted. They need pull their act together. How in the is Duncan letting them punks push him around, I'm teethering on insanity here.

I agree that Barry needs both more playing time and shots, but starting him doesn't solve our defensive problems. In fact, it might make them worse. Barry hasn't been able to keep up that step on defense ever since he blew the calf, and he has the same defensive instincts as Finley. But , at least Barry has been able to get his shot to fall.

I liked what I saw from Ime on Wells, and it would seem like he's a good enough perimeter defender to keep up with the likes of Peja and Peterson. But he needs to stop making boneheaded plays and knock down some shots if he wants to stay on the floor.

And Pop needs to pull his head out of his ass and give up on Bowen vs. Paul. This dude is too quick and too good for Bowen, and this is creating a buffet of driving opportunities for the Hornets and matchup problems for the Spurs.

Stop with three pointers and drive to basket.

Tim waits too long for double teams.

    Play Bonner.

Tell Tony to stop going to stupid movies with Eva during the playoffs. Leave wife at home waiting for him to come home while she is dressed in garter belts, black hose and edible panties--all contingent on the Spurs winning the series. If not--no nooky for six months...
