I don't think the spurs are dirty. Remember the old Pistons? That was a dirty Team. Charles Barkley, Kurt Rambus , and Karl Malone those were dirty players.

The spurs play as hard as they can, right up to the limits of the rules of basketball.

The Spurs aren't evil, they're just bad asses. You wouldn't say Shaft was evil would you? Sometimes he had to utilize questionable techniques to get the job done, but he never compromised his moral values...

The Spurs are just smart bad asses.

It's a good thing most of the players complaining weren't playing in the 80's or 90's. I think in a lot of ways, we are a throw back to those eras, but we're tame compared to what went down back then.
