If coach would've gave me that contract back in 08' things would be different, i'd be a champion. I'd be makin millions, big Ol' mansion somewhere in a hot tube wit ma sole mate.
Time Travel? You know it!
If Bynum stays healthy and has a good season next year he will get a max contract. Your foolish if you think the Lakers are the only team who would offer him a max deal.
Big men with his skills are extremely hard to find, go look at what stiffs like Dampier are getting paid.

Why is an unproven 20 year old coming off knee surgery demanding the max? At least wait a year and pull off an all star caliber season before thinking you deserve max money. His agent is a knucklehead.
No his agent is just doing his job. Their jobs are to get as much money as humanly possible for their clients.
Making ridiculous demands only causes problems. He should just wait a year, get healthy and put together a solid season before going public with this.
Agent: I bet you don't have 1 of these, Good centers don't grow on trees
Phil to Mitch: I want that, remember Kwame?
Agent: This is a serious seven footer
Mitch: So if we pay the max, we get an interior presence for free?
Agent: You look like a strong guy Mitch, try moving bynum here off the block
Mitch: I can't
Agent: How does this over price ass rape sound to you?

Yup. Laker fans...
This league is not about what your talent is worth. It's about what the market will pay you. It doesn't matter that Bynum's talent is not indicative of a max contract, that's not how this works. If he stays healthy and has a good year he will get offers for a max deal from more teams than just LA.
rofl i read some of their boards, and the majority of laker fans think he deserves the max, and most of them are mad exclusively at the agent.
Kobe needs to give him a talk. Just hope they film it when he does.
What a dumbass........Bynum needs to prove he can stay healthy. Dude avg. 13 pts and thinks he is an allstar.....LOLZ
Well if Nene can get $10 million a year for six years after averaging 10 and 6, why wouldn't he ask for the max? Contracts nowadays have just as much to do with potential than they have with current production. Sure he's not worth the max, but I'd be looking for as much money as I could get too.
Doesn't Dampier make like $15 million too?
The only thing I dislike about this is the timing. Why does his agent feel the need to say this now? Why not wait until Bynum plays a full season and puts up good numbers? Then he'll have all the leverage in the world.
Sounds like Kobe's influence is already showing...
The agent is just making a rush for the money before his client is exposed as an overrated bum.
He won another ring with the Heat?
So true, oh the truth hurts.![]()
All you LA gots on Bynum's nuts caused his iness![]()
What's going to be really funny is when Bynum starts demanding the team surround him with better players.
