Mavs beat the Spurs with same teams in playoffs two seasons ago. What are you talking about? They have not played since.

Nope.....owned is having a MVP player on a #1 seed, which sported one of the alltime best regular season records, and then getting your ass kicked by a 8th seeded team.......that's ownage.

When we are healthy we are one of the best teams in the league.We really had no bench beyond Landry,and were missing our best player, and we still won 55 games.With one or two more players to help keep the offensive flow when our stars sit, we can play with anyone. If you can't see that then i understand why your still a Nuggets faithful.

being able to play with anyone and saying your team is a couple role players from a championship are two extremely different things...
If the Rockets are Healthy, they have as good of a shot as any other team in the league to win it all.....that's the bottom line.
They won 22 in a row last year playing in a brand new system and relying heavily on 2 damn rookies........rookies that will be even better next season and the entire team will be better since they'll have a better grasp of the system. Through the first half of last season they weren't even above .500 while they were still trying to learn it......that won't happen this season.

The Mavericks are the same team minus HARRIS and the coach AVERY now!.If you don't think Kidd is better then Harris you are crazy....CRAZY.The Mavs changed the point guard postion, thats not easy to do with 25 games left or so. Thats just about impossible to compete against playoff teams and it showed.
This same Maverick team plus KIDD and the coaching change vs the SAME Spurs team, the one that has not changed except got older,no help in free agents this summer, crappy draft pick,even lost Brent Barry is so much better then the Mavericks is ing RIDICULOUS. Seriously.
To compare a match up (Spurs and Mavericks) that happened two years ago, teams that have most of the same personel is not ing ridiculous. Sorry, its not.
I don't see how you can't see that saying your team has a good chance as any team to win it all is not at all the same thing as saying your team is a few role players away from winning it all.

I agree. The team should consist of Yao, Scola, and 3 combo guards at all times...
That leaves the possibility that Yao (and Scola) will be very tired by season's end (or the All Star Break, which ever comes first). Therefore, they need yet more combo guards to replace them when they break down.
Bobby and Francis are on the roster for their expiring contracts, that will eventually be moved for a player to shore up the rotation.

It's like differentiating between saying the 2006-07 Dallas Mavericks almost won it all and saying the 2006-07 Dallas Mavericks were the best team in the regular season that year. Two very different things.
