I think everybody should just chill, I mean wait at least till training camp start and see the roster first. Stop fighting man, it's summer, go to the beach or something.

Look, I know what the Spurs are losing with Horry's departure and appreciate everything he has done to contribute to past wins. I suppose I would just feel worse about it had he shot better than 0 for the WCF.

The best pick up line is there is no best pick up line. All you have to do is take off that shirt, and put on some bathing oil, and just flex. Works every time!

It was quite expected. Now we will see if pop will go with Bonner as shooting PF or keep him in the doghouse.

I quite expect Horry to find a team. He is cheap, smart, tough and has a lot of experience.
IMO, he will sign with Lakers. Their front court is young and quite soft. They also face some luxury tax trouble so Horry for the min could be the best solution for them.
I don't see it. I recall his parting from LA wasn't sweet to the point that during the 2008 playoffs, he made a point of saying Pop was his best coach...during the Laker series. I also don't think the location works for him. I can see him somewhere within a 60-90 minute flight to Houston: Houston itself, N.O., Memphis, Dallas, OKC. His daughter is profoundly handicapped, and I think he would retire rather than play on either coast and be that far away from her.

Maybe, but my point has been that Horry's playoff minutes can never be replaced by Bonner's minutes. Horry looked old and hurt during last year's playoff run, but he did contribute. I'd be pleasantly surprised if Bonner was able to match that during next year's playoffs, but it isn't likely.
Horry shot .192 in the 2008 playoffs, and .227 from beyond the arc. How ing hard is that to replace?

Again, that's not honest. Was Horry a primary offensive option? NO! Was he hurt all year? YES!

My point is that Horry provided the "intangibles".

Intangibles aren't enough if the clutch shooting isn't there to go with it. Horry's done, and trotting out the corpse of his career for another year is worse than those other options you won't face.

So what is an adequate replacement?

knee-knee probably thinks Malik Rose could still make a difference too....
