It's actually deserved like 20, but they are all on the other pages. The Dark Knight has broken records and one of those records is the number of threads dedicated to a particular thing on ST.com(besides the Spurs) and that number is around 30.
this movie deserves two threads...doesn't it?

Yea, Dent is dead. But not Two-Face.
You guys have to remember, villians always come back in comics, especially Batman comics. It was totally left up to the viewer to decide if he was alive or dead, and imo he is definately alive.
Dent/Two Face is dead.
He's just dead.
He won't come back.
There's no need for Nolan to bring him back.
His storyline is done.
Maybe if Ledgar hadnt died I would agree with you. But the fact that he died leaves the franchise without many viable options for a villian that could carry a movie. I think Nolan probably initially planned to kill off Harvey without a doubt in this movie, but Ledgars death probably made him rethink that while editing or whatever. It wasnt 100% that Two-Face was dead. I think Gordan snuck him off to Arkham or some like that.
Do you have any idea how many more villains there are for Batman?
Please.
Yea, I also know that Nolan has already stated he would only use realistic enemies in his Batman movies. That takes like more than half of the villians Batman has out of the picture. Do you realize that this is a comic book movie? No one stays dead in comics.
I don't think it's half, more like 1/4 LMAO.
Nolan used Ra's Al Ghul and he was as unrealistic as they were going to get, but he altered his backstory a lot.
Killer Crock
Clayface
Mr. Freeze
Poison Ivy
Man Bat
The Penguin (To an extent, I mean he was just born deformed)
Those are all the unrealistic ones I can think of right now.
So, you say he wants a realistic villian but then you say that it's a comic book movie and that no one stays dead?
It's a bit of a contradiction.
But, anyways, he can make a realistic villain out of the Riddler, Bane, Black Mask, or Hideto Katsu.
, you could even throw in Lex Luthor and finally have Batman and Superman team up.
They've been planning a movie with those two for years now.
Anyway, Two Face is dead.
He's not needed anymore.
So, get over that.
From what I have read Nolan and Bale are against any form of superhero tagging that involves the current batman character that is portrayed by bale and if some sort of JLA or crossover occurs by DC bale and nolan will bail out the batman franchise.
A Holiday story line would be the .
Well, there goes that.
But, the other villains I posted are a possibility.
So we had Batman Begins and the sequel was called The Dark Knight, a nick name for batman.
We have Superman Returns, so will the sequel be called The Man of Steel? The villian should be Braniac.

I know in the 60's they had " Dark Knight Returns " and " Fall of the Dark Knight " (Comics)
Yep, Superman Man Of Steel.

That's what I want WB to do.
For batman in the third film follow the comic storyline where batman breaks his back against bane and he has to retire for a time. then end the bale batman series.
For superman (alhtough not as good as batman), the third film should have doomsday as the main villian and have superman killed and end it the routh-superman series. Hopefully they can make the 2nd superman film good.
As much as I would like to see Supes battle Braniac on the silver screen, I just can't see it done.
It's way to complicated.
Ignore that.
They're going with a new director and a new screenwriter.
The Scottish dude that wrote the Wanted movie is going to be writing a new Superman script.
They haven't said who the new director is going to be.
Since Superman's villians are mostly all extermely unrealistic I think you have a more lenience in regards to setting up the villians. Also it hints that superman will be fighting something alien in the next film so who knows. As long as they don't use doomsday.
And we might as well start hyping up the next batman movie:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman_%28film_series%29
Or maybe a movie involving both Batman and Superman?
I know Lex Luthor was involved with the Joker at one point (I'm not kidding by the way)
Kate Beckinsale as Catwoman?Future
Nolan is not committed to another sequel, explaining that he does not normally line up projects after completing a film. Gary Oldman is confident Nolan will return,[25] and Bale said he would return if Nolan did.[26] Oldman hinted in the third film Gordon would have to hunt down Batman.[27] He has also mentioned that the villain of the upcoming film may be The Riddler. [28] Nolan explained that as long as he is directing, he is not including Robin in the franchise because Bale is portraying a "young Batman", which meant "Robin's not for a few films". Nolan jokingly listed Frankie Muniz as a potential choice, if the studio forced him to cast.[29] Bale joked "I'll be chaining myself up somewhere and refusing to go to work" if Robin is introduced.[30]
In addition, Nolan considered the Penguin difficult to portray on film, explaining, "There are certain characters that are easier to mesh with the more real take on Batman we're doing. The Penguin would be tricky."[31] Christina Ricci, Sarah Mic e Gellar and Kate Beckinsale have shown interest in playing Catwoman,[32][33] while David Tennant wishes to play the Riddler.[34] Prior to the release of The Dark Knight in 2008, David Goyer ruled out using the Penguin or Catwoman as a villain in a future film, prefering to use antagonists from the comic that had not yet been portrayed on the big screen.[35] After Heath Ledger's death in January 2008, it is unknown whether the Joker will return for a third film, be recast, or retired out of respect for Ledger.
Make it so. Please, someone, make it so.
Link? Because all I have read is that Singer is under contract. But I did read that they brought in new writers, they just havent said who they are. Not disagreeing, just curious, because I really liked the last Superman movie, even though Ive never even liked Supes.
I'll try and find it for you.
I'm at work, so my surfing is limited.
Dude!!!
Tennant as The Riddler would kick all sorts of ass.
He's got that mad look to his eyes.
I found this one.
It's still in the rumor phase, though:
