I think this seals no tiago slitter this year
Where have you been? That ship sailed months ago. No Splitter until 2010, and even then I wouldn't get my hopes up.
yes I am joking thus the spin![]()
Anal retentive forum.
Oh wait, you think they're going to waive him...![]()
Yes!!!!!!!!!
I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous over the past few days...cmon in KT, we're glad to have you.
Barry's replacement: Roger Mason. I keep hearing Finley's coming back.
Good move considering there was not much else on the market better than Thomas. I don't know how much he will help against the quicker and more athletic PF's in the NBA but I certainly trust his D over the likes of Oberto, Bonner and an unproven Mahinmi...
I guess those posters who were all worried some magical team was going to swoop in and steal Thomas can breathe again.
Not Orlando.
But the Lakers had me worried.
The Lakers are over the luxury threshold. They weren't going to spend $12M this coming season for Thomas in an effort to steal him away.
I thought the Spurs were undertaking a youth movement?
That's a good roster, except there is nobody with Horry-like qualities. The Spurs le years have always had some role player come up big in the clutch. I just don't see who it would be.
I'm curious what people think is too much to pay KT, especially considering they haven't released the details of the contract yet.
Even Horry doesn't have Horry-like qualities.
I'd say his market value is a two-year, $10M contract.
I guess Kurt could have gone to Europe like most all of the other Spurs' bigs have done, and made more take-home cash. This was a good signing, especially, when you consider what they faced without him...so for that I will give this announcement a very solid![]()
this means Holt released 3.1 a year?![]()
Best move of the offseason besides saying that Horry wasn't coming back.
I'm pretty sure they'll resign Finley.
Now, if only they could move Bonner or especially Oberto.
Not a big surprise since we had his Bird rights so no other team could match unless they gave him the max. Good move none the less. Hopefully he'll have something left towards the end of the season and into the playoffs. Pop is gonna have to do his usual magical juggling act with this roster of extrememly young and somewhat old players.
