She's a fiscal conservative PERFECT!!!!!!!![]()
Man, this is getting more interesting by the minute. We may get another leader who s things up, we may actually get someone competent, but either way this is entertaining.
She's a fiscal conservative PERFECT!!!!!!!![]()
But you'll vote for a no experience trick with a penus?
There's a woman standing behind McCain who just learned women can vote.
You're extremely naive if you think this choice wasn't based on gender. The Republicans have spent the past year attacking Obama on his lack of experience, but then they saw the angry Hillary supporters and that light bulb above their heads turned on. Sarah would not have even been considered if Hillary hadn't gotten as many votes as she did during the primaries.
She looks good and the "Father & Daughter" look could do them good.
You mean his wife?
People are going to vote against Obama because he's black and others will vote against McCain because he's 72 years old. Is voting bias regarding to Palin's gender any different?
the pro lifers, that's all I gotta say.
If a man doesn't want the responsibility of raising children, I think he should be able to walk away from that. But at least with an abortion the kid doesn't have to grow up without a dad.
My crazy best friend is...
Funny, but I meant a woman in the crowd....
No more comfortable than a guy with less experience who just babbled the same rhetoric over and over. Biden is another Lieberman.

Interesting lady.Palin was born in Idaho and raised in Alaska. In 1984, she was the runner-up in the Miss Alaska pageant, receiving a scholarship that allowed her to attend the University of Idaho, where she received a degree in journalism. After working as a sports reporter at an Anchorage television station, Palin served two terms on the Wasilla, Alaska, City Council from 1992 to 1996, was elected mayor of Wasilla (population 5,470 in 2000) in 1996, and ran unsuccessfully for Lieutenant Governor in 2002.
I like that she was a writer and likes sport. I know that has nothing to do with her ability to be a good vice president, but it makes her personable at least.
Anyone know what song she came out too when McCain announced her? What movie did it come out in? Its driving me crazy!!
Wow lol um yeah ok.......

wow-Sarah and her father would sometimes wake at 3 a.m. to hunt moose before school, and the family regularly ran 5k and 10k races![]()
If the VP thing doesn't work out, sign her to the Spurs. She played the championship game despite a stress fracture in her ankle, hitting a critical free throw in the last seconds![]()
Because the best thing the Spurs can ask for is another gimpy guard with a bum ankle...![]()
I'd say anyone that is sexist, or racist, is xenophobic first and foremost....and Obama is not going to appeal to anyone that is xenophobic...and that's a lot of Americans right now with regards to Mid-Easterners. And yes I know he's an American and isn't from the Mid-East...but he's still got the name. He still comes off as an outsider more than anything else.
Wow really?
Thats the million dollar question - isn't it? Which bias is the greatest one?
It's funny how everyone thinks Obama got something from nominating Biden...he got nothing from that dude.
That dude doesn't even make a ripple in the Presidential Races, and he never has.
I just don't like Biden...I actually like Obama a lot more than I like Biden and I dislike Biden so much it's made me lean away from Obama.
I think McCain is making efforts to get votes from the middle and from the other side of the aisle but I think he needs to be most concerned about the ones in this base.
Until I see proof that this will do anymore more than provide some shallow pandering to women voters (women voters who have a clue about women's rights aren't voting for mccain anyway) then I am of the opinion Romney was his better choice.
I don't think he got much from the Biden pick. I don't think anyone ever really gets a lot from VP picks though.
Literally the weakest VP pick since Quayle. She could do something down the road, but wow. A bit of a reach there, eh? No experience, nothing to run on. Has 'rock ribbed' Republican values - is even a creationist. And clearly done as an electoral ploy to go after PUMAs and dissolve the attention from the Dem convention. Again the Republicans don't campaign to govern, they campaign to campaign. They win and then don't know what to do when they get there.
This'll get a bounce in interest, but she's really weak. Word is she hasn't even been vetted yet.
I know it's all about net gain and loss, but I have a feeling Palin satisfies a significant amount of the conservative base.
